The Pathway To Your Results
Do Not Worry
We challenge the belief that worry is useful and show how presence, identity, and action change outcomes. Pulling from Matthew 6 and real stories, we break the loop of fear by focusing on what we can control and healing the wounds that project into the future.
• worry as imagination turned against you
• creation happening only in the present
• ego’s need to control outcomes
• Matthew 6 reinterpreted as a law of consciousness
• nature as a model of trust and action
• controlling attitude, effort and energy
• finding the root wound behind worry
• breaking the worry–inaction feedback loop
• affirming identity before outcomes
• remembering past resilience to anchor today

Once you see what you actually are, that you're an infinite, limitless being, you'll see that nothing exists outside of you. I'm your host, Derek Grant, and this is the Pathway to Your Results Podcast.
SPEAKER_01:Bro, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pathway to Results Podcast. It is your boy DG.
SPEAKER_02:Oh my goodness, we are here. This episode, I wanted to. I'm speaking to somebody. I might be talking to myself, but I hope this resonates with you. Um this concept, this thing that we call worry. Um, we don't even realize how much we do worry. Uh, a lot of our worry is inherited. I'm gonna break down really what it is, why it is. Um, I'm gonna use in this in this particular podcast, I'm gonna use the uh the teacher of Yeshua ben Yosef, Jesus. I'm gonna use the teachings of it to show you the deeper uh metaphysical and uh I guess you call physics, what what what he was actually trying to say when you look at a scripture, a specific scripture when he was breaking down uh really what worry is.
SPEAKER_00:But uh first thing you need to do is understand that worry is created by your own mind when your mind is in the future, but your body is in the present moment.
SPEAKER_02:So when my mind is stuck in the future, I'm going to unconsciously create this thing called worry. So think of it like this: worry is nothing more than the imagination turned against you. So when you look at the scripture in the Bible, uh Matthew 6, 25, Jesus wasn't giving a suggestion. He was breaking down the law of consciousness. He was trying to get you to understand that every time that you worry, you step out of the present moment and you disconnect from the very place of where creation actually happens. We know that creation only happens in the present moment.
SPEAKER_00:If you're not actually being present, you're creating something that is actually out of the past.
SPEAKER_02:So when you understand the scripture, it says, Do not worry about your life. Look at the birds, for they do not sow or reap, yet they are fed. Which of you by worrying could add a single hour to your life? Seek first the kingdom, and all things would be given unto you. Now, I'm breaking, I'm paraphrasing this right now, but he was basically telling the disciples, he was telling them, like, yo, why are y'all so worried about everything? You over here worried it's not adding anything to your life. It's not benefiting you in any way, shape, or form. And you over here worried about this and worried about that. If the birds don't sit here and store a bunch of stuff, aren't you more valuable than they? He's saying, Aren't you, don't you mean more to the Father? Don't you mean more to this divine consciousness, being that you are aware that you are the divine consciousness? Don't you mean more than these birds? So, why in the world they don't worry, but yet you over here worrying? And he asked them, which one of you by worrying adds a single hour to your life? So I want you to sit here and ask yourself this. By me sitting here worrying about what's gonna happen and what I should have done and why it didn't happen, what does that add to your life? What does it add? It ain't it ain't doing anything other than stressing you the f out, got you over here mad at the kids, you over here pulling at your hair. Worry ain't gonna do nothing but keep you stuck in a place where you can't create. So now, something I need you all to understand, and we've talked about this many a time over the years of this pat this this this podcast. Creation ain't never happened in the future. Never has it ever. Creation can only happen now. So when you leave now, you are leaving the divine principle, the divine power, the divine spark, the divine moment of creation because the moment was now. This is why we call it the present moment. So when you understand that the ego can only exist in the past and it can only exist in the future, it cannot exist in the present moment. Worry is nothing more than the ego trying to control outcomes. So the ego sitting here mistrusting uh the source, the divine creator, God, whatever you refer to it as, the spirit. And now it's trying to manage something that it ain't none of its business, it ain't none of its job. I'm I'm coaching seventh-grade basketball right now, for those of you that don't know. And uh the point guard was telling one of the players, like, you need to get back on defense, you need to get back on defense. He was kind of like, he wasn't raising his voice, wasn't barking at him, but he was just letting him know, like, yo, you need to do this. And the coach looked at him and said, That's my job. I'll say that. One of the head coach, I'm the assistant coach. The head coach was like, That's my job. I'll say something to the player. When you start looking at the ego like this, the ego's over here trying to do some things and control some stuff. Spirit's like, that ain't your job. That's my job. You over here trying to do something that you don't have no business doing because you don't have the tools that are needed to do it. Let me handle this. So when Jesus was saying, seek first the inner kingdom, we already know. If we look back to Luke 17, 21, when the disciples was like, yo, where is this place that you speak of? How do I get there? Please tell me. And he said, What are you talking about? Heaven? Boy, don't you know the heaven, the kingdom is inside of you. It's not a place that you're gonna find. And let me tell you something. If anybody ever tells you it's somewhere up there or over here, you better run from them because they over here selling you them bald headed lies. So he was telling you, seek first the kingdom, meaning shift your internal state, shift your mindset, change the way you look at things, change the way you look at yourself, increase the value of how much of yourself you see. We call that self-worth. And when you do this, your reality will shift around you. All things will be given unto you, all things will be added unto you. Why? Because they can have, they have no choice but to be given unto you based on whatever you are. Good God Almighty. Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing I'm saying. I might as well go ahead and get off this thing early because I know you ain't trying to hear nothing. I know you ain't trying to hear what I'm saying. We're over here seeking things outside of ourselves in the quote-unquote future, and that's why we got ourselves worried right now. So worry ain't nothing more than faith in the wrong future. Let me say that again for all of you who didn't really understand what I was saying. Worry ain't nothing more than faith in the wrong future. See, what I need to do is exercise this muscle of what we call faith. Remember what faith was. Faith was nothing more than the belief that a positive outcome will transpire. But I need to do that right now. I can't wait till I get there in order for me to usher faith. And this is what a lot of us are doing sometimes. Oh, I'll be faithful. I'll believe I can do it once I do it. Well, you know you that ain't the way it works. That ain't the way it works. How many times we do this? I'll I'll start managing my finances once I get a little money. We ain't never gonna get any money. You got to understand how this universe works. Everything is constantly in a transactional state, meaning one's giving, one is receiving. You must be the first one to give. I just read something in the book the other day that said, in order to gain value, you're gonna have to get a give up value. Good God almighty. I don't think y'all understand what it was saying. If I'm gonna gain value, I'm gonna have to give up value. If I'm gonna work on my body and make sure I get myself physically fit, I'm gonna have to give up sitting on the couch. I'm gonna have to give up eating that bunk cake knowing it's gonna taste good when it hits this palate. I'm gonna have to give up sleeping in. Do you see what it how it works? See, sleeping in has value to you. Sitting on that couch has value to you. Allowing people to walk all over you has value to you. In order for you to gain something though, you're gonna have to give something up. So, this, my friend, when you understand really how this reality is working, this scripture hits a little bit different. This word, this lesson, this teaching hits a little bit different. See, what we don't realize is every time that we worry, you have just created a block. You have just created a wall, you have just created a sinkhole that collapses your ability to be creative. It collapses your ability to figure out what I am gonna do next. And guess what worry's gonna do? I'm gonna tell you this. All worry's gonna do is attract that nappy headed mother named Fear. That's all it's gonna do. Worry and fear, they come together. They like some twin sisters. You know how it is. When one comes, you know the other one's gonna be right behind it. And one's gonna be the loud one, and one's gonna be the quiet one, but the quiet one's gonna actually do more harm. We're not gonna name them. We don't give them no names, but some of y'all know what I'm talking about. Y'all, y'all, some of us know some siblings. We may have gone to high school with um, oh Lord, here they come. Here she, here come the loud one, here come the one who's gonna be the other destruction. She's gonna be the one who's gonna tear everything up. He's gonna be the one to cause all the problems. You got to understand your mind what it's doing right now. Your mind ain't nothing more than trying to fulfill the pictures that you have created inside of your mind. It's trying to, it's trying to fulfill what you have been rehearsing. And here's the deal: it doesn't care if it's negative or not. Start doing inventory. Look at all the things that you worry about. I worry about am I gonna pay the bills? I worry about are my kids gonna be okay? I worry about my health. I worry about, I worry about, I worry about, I worry about, I worry about. And now here we are. We spend more of our day worrying than we do walking in this energy of faith, of knowing I'm gonna be good. I'm gonna be all right. I gotta speak life into somebody right now because I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Sometimes you gotta look yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that you're gonna always be okay. Sometimes you gotta look yourself in the mirror and encourage yourself and speak life into yourself and tell yourself, I know you may be worried right now. I know you may be concerned, but trust and know we're gonna get to wherever we're supposed to be. Has the universe ever done you wrong yet? So, what you worried about? We can go ahead and get off right now. We're done. I ain't got nothing else to say. You sat there and shook your head. No, I didn't even need to see you, but I know you did. It ain't never done you wrong, but now here you are worried about something. This is how you know it's a program. You know one thing? Back in 2023, when I went and sat in that cave in Oregon, I went on Monday, I came in on Friday, I mean, came out on Friday. When I went in that cave, I got in Monday about three o'clock. By Tuesday, I started to realize I don't know what's going on in the world. They could have dropped an atomic bomb on New York City and I wouldn't know what happened. I didn't have no phone, I didn't have any access. I they could have told me that they cloned dinosaurs and tyrannosaurus rexes was running around all over the world, eating up everybody, and I wouldn't even know what was going on. But you know what was funny as I sat there in the dark? I still had those daggone worries. I still had those same stories, and I realized, oh my goodness, I'm not in the environment that I thought was creating the worry. Good God Almighty. I'm telling you, I was out of the environment that was giving me permission to have worry. I'm sitting here in the pitch black, I'm talking, as my daddy would say, it was dark as 30 nights. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face, but here I was still stressed and worried about things. That I wasn't even in the environment for. And I started to realize, oh my goodness, these ain't nothing but stories that I tell myself. These ain't nothing that uh they're scripts that get rehearsed and get played out. And I started to realize this isn't really real. This is me creating this unconsciously. So here's what I realized I had to do. I had to get to the root. I had to get to the root. See, worried is anchored to something. Worried is uh it's anchored to a wound. See, something, see, worry it, worry is your mind being in the future. I'm worried that this is going to happen. I'm worried that things won't go that. And the reason why you're worried about that is because something happened in the past. And the ego, remember, I told you you can only build a house in the future and the past, so it ping-pongs back and forth. It takes a situation that has happened in your past and then it projects it up into the future, and now you over here worried about it. Maybe you saw mom and dad struggle, maybe you went without. Maybe for some reason you missed that payment and now your credit score got messed up. Now you are taking this and projecting it up to the future to create worry. But do we not know? Nothing exists outside of right now. Everything else is just a story that we keep telling ourselves. So if I can change the story that I'm telling by going back to the root where the where the pen hit the piece of paper, meaning I go back to the trauma. I go back to the thing that created uh uh uh this quote unquote psychological wound. When I get back to that, now I can start eliminating this thing that we call worry. And here's what you realize: the more that I worry, the less that I'm gonna actually act. The more the less the uh action that I'll take. And the less that you act, guess what? The less action you take, the more worry you get. Do you see how this works? You see the loop? So now here I am, caught up in this loop. Oh no, oh no, what if it doesn't happen? Now, if it doesn't happen, guess what? I'm just gonna, I can't do it. I can't do it. And now we're frozen and we upshirt in fear. Fear is the only thing that's gonna really keep you from taking action. And now we're caught up in this loop. Good God Almighty, do we see how this works? So now every time we bring in worry, we know that's the ego speaking loud because it's so afraid. It's so afraid of the pattern repeating. It's not actually afraid of the pattern repeating, though. Hear me what I'm saying? It's not afraid of the pattern repeating, it's afraid that you may get awareness to stop the pattern. That's what it's really afraid of. You have to understand how the ego actually operates. The ego ain't nothing more than a security guard, the ego ain't nothing more than a bouncer. So it's trying to protect the wound because it built an identity around the wound. And the identity is what it calls survival. So believe it or not, some of us would rather, excuse me, most of us would rather live from the wound than actually doing something about it. Because the ego says, this is who I am. I am my trauma, I am the situation, I am the victim, I am the one who got left, I am the one who got walked over, I am the And now it has built an identity around it. So then it creates this uh, what do you want to call this? This optical illusion that I'm so worried that this could happen again. So now guess what ends up happening? You don't take action, and that action that you don't take ends up creating the thing that you didn't want to happen, and the ego has this sly smile in the background saying, Oh, I can't believe that happened again. Oh no. Also, it can continue to exist. I was in Israel back in 2008 where I was with the Globetriers, and we were in Israel, we were staying in Tel Aviv, and there was a man who was sitting at the table. I went down for breakfast early, and there was a man sitting at a table by himself, and I sat right next to him. I didn't speak to him, but I sat right next to him, and he was just sitting there and he was reading like a book or something, and I looked at him and I said, I know who you are. You had a song. And the song went a little bit like this. Here's a lit, a song I wrote. You might want to sing it note for note, don't worry, be happy. It was Bobby McFarren. And I'm sitting here looking at him say, Man, this is Bobby McFarren. I remember my dad used to play this in his Buick. I used to hear you play, and he was my dad said, He's playing this with his chess, there's no instruments or anything. And I'm sitting here watching him. Now, fast forward to 2025, I was going through kind of like this weird phase of transitioning into this uh new iteration. And I have a playlist of all these old songs, and this song popped up, and it was Don't Worry. And I realized in that moment, all the worry that I ever encountered, all the worry that I ever fear ain't nothing more than my nervous system reliving old trauma of living a new truth instead of living a new truth. That's all it is. Worry ain't nothing but the old. It's my old nervous system, reliving the old trauma, reliving the old, uh, sorry, uh, keeping me from living this new truth, this new iteration. So I started to realize anytime that I feel worried, this is an opportunity for me to get back to something. This is an opportunity for an upgrade. So when we look at this scripture that Jesus was talking about, he was telling his, telling the disciples, he was telling, yo, yo, y'all stop worrying. Y'all stop worrying about this stuff. Don't none of these creatures out here, the leopard, the lion, the rhinoceros, the tiger, none of them over here are worried. You ever just sit in nature one day, go to the park and get a get up get a get a stool, get a get a pen, a bar, uh, I can't even talk right now, a park bench and sit down on it and just watch the animals, watch the birds, watch the squirrels. Now, squirrels may look like they're stressed out, but they not stressed out. Okay, they not. Birds may seem like they over here stressed, but they're not stressed out. That's you projecting your worry onto them. Just watch them. They don't know where the next meal is coming. Good God almighty. I don't think you hear what I'm saying. They don't know when the next opportunity to eat is coming. They don't know when the next, they don't know because they don't have the ability to think outside of right now. I don't think you hear what I'm saying. They don't have the ability to think outside of right now. So they don't even have to worry about worrying. They ain't even gotta bring it in. But we have the ability to create our quote-unquote future through this tool called the imagination. So instead of us creating what we could do, we create what we worried about, what we won't do. So sometimes we don't have to be like some of these animals. And stop worrying about whether or not you're gonna know how you're gonna get there. I'm gonna tell you right now, everywhere you go and everything you ever accomplish, you ain't never gonna know how to get how you did it until you done it. You ain't never gonna know how you're gonna do it until after the fact. Some of us don't even know what you're gonna wear tomorrow. Some of us don't even know what you're gonna wear today, do you? Some of us don't even know what we're gonna eat tonight for dinner, but we over here worried about what's gonna happen in three years. We over here worried about how am I gonna take these two ends right here and make them meet? How am I gonna do it? Well, if you're gonna worry about that, you need to be worried about everything in your life. Let's keep it fair, let's keep it a 100, let's keep it a buck, as these kids would say. If you're gonna worry about where you're gonna be in three months, then you need to worry about what you're gonna eat for dinner tonight and have that same energy as Tony Baker would say. Keep that same energy player. Do we see? But we won't do that. So this is how we know we're acting out of a wound. This is how we know that this is nothing more than the mechanism of the ego trying to control. I'm here to tell you right now. When I told you earlier, you got to look yourself in the mirror. You need to affirm yourself that it will always work out. And hear me when I say it, what I mean by work out. When I say work out, that doesn't mean, well, I'm gonna win the lottery and I know I'm always gonna be set financially. I know I'm gonna be good. That ain't what I mean. So don't you over here start start doing that. Here's what I mean: it's always going to work itself out because the universe is only trying to get you to transform and evolve into the next version of who you're going to become. That's it. The universe says, you want the physical thing? Okay. I want the version of you of who you have to become, the version of you that cannot be measured, the version of you who's doing things that a year ago you wouldn't even think about doing, the version of you who's taking the action and be and putting itself first instead of sitting second and being a people pleaser. I want that version of you. That's the one I want to see. So, in order to do that, you're gonna have to encourage yourself and remind yourself that the worst thing that will happen, the worst thing is that I will figure out more about myself through this situation. Do you see how this works? Let this get in your spirit, please, and thank you. The worst thing that's gonna happen is you're gonna find out more about who you are. More importantly, you may find out who you are not. And when you find out who you are not, three snaps in a Z formation, you're gonna be looking at yourself just a little bit differently because now you realize, oh my goodness, I don't need permission from people. Oh my goodness. I'm going to be whatever I say that I am. Oh my goodness. The only thing that has ever stopped me was my belief in what I thought was capable, good. God Almighty, it has always been me. What the f am I worried about? What am I worried about? What am I worried about? This is the question I asked myself now. What are you worried about? You over here worried about the same thing. You worried about the same things you were worried about three years ago. Think about it. Look at all the stuff that you're worried about. Write it down. Write it down. And I'm willing to bet this is the same stuff that you were worried about three years ago. Some of us go ahead, yeah. Some of us are about to turn the podcast off now because I'm over here triggering you, ain't I? Huh? I just read something there today. It said a lie will uh what does it say? Uh a lie will weaken a strong man, and the truth will weaken a weak man. I don't know. I'm telling the truth to you right now. That's all I'm saying. You get what I'm getting at. See the squirrel mind, just see how I just ran off just now? I had to bring, I had to bring it, bring it back, bring it back in. But we over here worried about the same stuff. Why don't you just take a step back and look at your life? Look at your life and remind yourself, I may not be where I wanted to be, but guess what? I'm still here. I'm still in the game, I still have an opportunity. If you come from that energy, you don't even have room for worry. You don't. Do we see how this works? So do not worry about your life. Do not worry about it. And I'm gonna pull up the whole thing. I'm done paraphrasing, I'm gonna pull up the whole thing. If you just wait here, look at it. I wrote, I opened right up to it. I know I did not open it. I opened right up to the page. Goodness gracious, at this end, so okay. Do not worry, therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life and what you will eat or you will drink or about your body or what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes? You over here worry about these things in the physical realm. Is not life more than the physical realm? See, you forgot what you were. You thought she was your money. That's what the ego wanted you to think. You thought she was your uh livelihood, you thought you were them kids, you thought you were your marriage, you thought you were all of these things. You were so, so much more than that. And this is what the whole scripture was saying. Is life not more than the physical plane? Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten what you actually are? So now, look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Meaning nature, with that which is natural, that which is part of the all. It doesn't worry about whether or not it's gonna eat. And guess what? Go to Africa. Go to Africa, go over there. They go through this something called the drought. They go through the drought, and the lions gotta follow these creatures around. They gotta follow the wildebeest because the wildebeest drink the water and eat the grass, but ain't no grass and ain't no water because there's a drought. So now everybody gotta follow everybody around. And then guess what? They get to the water where they finally found something. Guess who's waiting for them? After a while, crocodile. They get to the water and there's a crocodile waiting to eat their snout off, waiting for. They don't say, Oh no, what are we gonna do? No, they say, look, we gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep going. We gotta keep rolling. We don't have time to sit here and worry about what it may be or what it may not be. I may cross this river, I may get eaten, I may not. You may start that business, it may thrive, it may flop. You may get in that relationship, they may stay or they may cheat. You may try something and it may not work and it may make you weak. I'm over here rhyming around, y'all. Y'all stay with me right now. You don't know, but why give energy to something that you don't know? Why don't you give energy to something that you do know? Why you why give energy to something that you do have control over? I had my son, we had practice the other day at AAU. It's the first time he's playing on his team. I said, he he I didn't have to ask him. He just flat out told me. He said, I'm nervous right now. I said, What are you nervous about? He said, Because what if I don't, what if I don't do good? I said, What are you worried about that? Why are you worried about your performance? Stop worrying about your performance. Because the reality of it is you're gonna do all you can to make a shot, but you don't have control over what goes in all the way. Because again, there's just this thing called defense. How about this? Why don't you why don't you just focus on controlling what you have control over? You got control over your attitude. You got control over your energy, you got control over your effort, your output. Focus on that and let the chips fall where they may. Good God almighty. I don't think y'all hear what I'm saying right now. Some of us are so doggone worried about whether or not we're gonna get to where we need to be. Why don't you stop worrying about that and focus on what you have control over? Get your butt up out of bed in the morning. Put yourself together, put one foot in front of the other and say, I'm gonna get this show going. I may not get to where I want to be today, but guess what? I'm gonna put the right in front of the left and the left in front of the right. We're gonna see where we end up at the end of the day. And if you if you're lucky enough to get another day tomorrow, we're gonna try it again, and we're gonna try it again, and we're gonna try it again. And then here's what's gonna end up happening. You stop focusing on something that you didn't have control over. And now you're keeping the main thing, the main thing. See, the main thing is what you had control over. That inner world, that inner part of you. So when I told my son, I said, Look, man, you ain't got nothing to be worried about. Sometimes you need to remind yourself, even when the shot ain't going in, I'm still good. Even if I ain't getting no playing time, I'm still good. Even when them bills are stacking up, I'm still good. Even when I'm trying to figure out how in the world I'm gonna make this life work, I'm still good. I'm still good. I know I'm gonna be okay. You know how I know I'm gonna be okay? Because I touched the bottom. I touched the bottom. I went to the basement. I went to the cellar. Matter of fact, I was up underneath the foundation. I went to the bottom. I mean, I was six feet down in the dirt, the lowest of the low. When you get to a point where you figure out, you say to yourself, is there any point of me even living anymore? You ain't gonna get no lower than that. I was at the lowest of the low. And I tell myself now, the top hit different when you touch the bottom. Let me go ahead and say that again for the people in the back, because I don't even think. Matter of fact, I'm gonna say this like I'm from Florida. Let me go ahead and say it for the people in the bike. The top gonna hit different when you hit bottom. And all of us at some point have touched bottom in our life. You got to understand that bottom is relative. Maybe bottom was when daddy didn't want to have no relationship with you. Maybe bottom was when you was over here in this traumatic relationship and you didn't know how you was gonna get out. Maybe bottom was you just wanted somebody to tell you that you love, that they love you, but now you figured out how to love yourself. All of us have touched the bottom at some point, and you got to remind yourself ain't no way but up now. Ain't no way but up. How do we say, hey, how do we say it? Hey, it's up. It is up. It ain't got no choice but be up. So I tell myself and I remind myself, I have my days when I'm down. I have my days when I'm uh uh I'm going through the tough time, but even when I'm down, I know that I'm up. You hear what I'm saying? Even when it's down, it's still up because I know it's gonna be more than what I was and where I was in the past. So this is why I stopped worrying. I'm not worried about it. And then you know what? I'm tired of life, quote unquote testing me. I like to test life a little bit. You know what? I'm not gonna worry. I ain't gonna worry one bit, and I'm gonna see if you're gonna give me exactly what you promised me you said you would. I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna be exactly who I wanna be. And I'm gonna see if you're gonna match it. Let me test you a little bit, mother. You see, start looking at life. We over here like being passerbys of life. Oh, well, hopefully I'll be okay. Hopefully, why don't you go ahead and start being that thing and see if life is gonna be okay? We always wait for the opportunity. Why don't you prepare yourself for what it is that you have coming or what you expect? You start being it right now, prepare yourself in every way, shape, or form, mentally, mentally, uh, emotionally, physically, prepare yourself and see if left life is gonna provide the opportunity for you. And then when it comes, don't you act surprised. Don't you act like it was a big deal. Don't you act like, oh my gosh, I can't believe this happened. Why? Why? You stop moving from the energy of worry. You stop moving from the energy of uh uh uh I wish, I hope, and you start to be it. So, this season of life, I'm telling you right now, I'm stepping to the energy of this golden jaguar. You hear what I'm saying? And I have to remind myself every morning I get up, I have to look myself in the mirror and say, you are the golden jaguar. You are the one, you are him, you are her. You have to affirm and speak this into yourself and talk to that nappy headed version of you who's over here worried about everything. Now, I'm not gonna lie to you. He's still inside of me. He's worried. He's worried about how you're gonna make the ends meet. What if you can't grow this business? What if you can't help this person? What if I tell him, shut your up. Shut up, get to the back. Is this not the same thing that Yeshua ben Yosef said to Hassatan, aka Satan? Did he not say the same thing to him? He said, What? Satan, get behind me. You over here coming with all these nappy, bullheaded ideas of temptation and worry and stress and fear. I'm not get behind if you don't get your get you get you behind me. Sometimes we have to say this to the old versions of ourselves. Joe, in this season right now, moving forward, I'm telling you right now, you ain't got nothing to worry about. You ain't got nothing to worry about. I know, I know. Well, Derek, you don't understand. I got these medical bills, and I don't know how I'm gonna make these ends meet. My kids over here mad, I gotta pay for this, my boss over here, I know. I I know. There still ain't no excuse for you to worry about it. You hear what I'm saying? I'm not telling you that the problems will be gone. I'm telling you, you don't need to worry about it. See, see, two things can be right at the same time. You know what you're saying? I can have issues and still not worry about it. Good God. Ain't nobody ever give you permission. Nobody ever gave you permission. See, you think if you have problems, you have to worry. I'm telling you, you ain't gotta worry. And this is why Jesus told his disciples. Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life. Do not worry about it. Do not worry about it. He didn't say you ain't gonna have no issues, he didn't say that. He's just saying, do not worry about it. Because you cannot add a single hour to your life, meaning it will not bring you any value to worry about it.
SPEAKER_01:So, my friends, I could stay on here for probably another three hours, but I won't do that. Remind yourself in the season that you're in.
SPEAKER_02:I don't have nothing to worry about. If you need to say it in my voice, you can say it in my voice. If that's gonna help, create a subconscious imprint. I ain't got nothing to worry about. I ain't got nothing to worry about. I know. Life's gonna do what life does. But I ain't got nothing to worry about. I may have some things that uh may I may uh uh need to give some energy towards, but I ain't gotta worry about it. And you're gonna feel how much lighter life really actually is. And then lastly, on those days that you are worried, I want you to think about the time that you had big worries. When you worried whether or not you were gonna get to where you at right now, when you worried if you were ever gonna feel the peace or have a smile on your face, I want you to remember, if you worried whether you was ever gonna be sober again, I want you to remember that and remind yourself, if I made it through that, I know I ain't got nothing to worry about. Oh my goodness, I know I ain't got nothing to worry about. I know it. And I'm gonna remind myself of this because that mind is gonna sit here and try to replay the story of we always got everything to worry about. You ain't gotta worry about nothing. That little Wayne Sand song is let it all work out. It's gonna work itself out. All of it. It'll get you to where you need to be. Life has a vested interest to see that you transform and grow. Life, you want to talk about a hedge fund? You want to talk about an investor? Life is the ultimate investor into you, in your business that you call life. Have you not thought about it like this? Your life is a business that life is over here investing into you, to see that it can get the ultimate return. Good God Almighty. We're talking that real talk right now. Life wants to see that it will help you to grow, it is putting all it can into you to see that you continue to develop. Because as you continue to develop and grow, so this universe will continue to do the same. So, as within, so without. Ain't nothing on the outside you gotta worry about. Remind yourself of this. And as always, I wish you nothing but the best on the pathway to your results.
