Divine Timing
Divine timing exists outside of the traditional concept of time. Everything that happens in our lives is perfectly orchestrated for our soul's evolution, even when we don't recognize it in the moment.
• Divine timing (kairos in Greek philosophy) means events happen exactly when needed for your soul's evolution
• You can only see divine timing when looking backward, not forward
• Déjà vu moments are glimpses of the "life preview" you experienced before birth
• Everything that enters your awareness was divinely placed there for you to learn from
• When you know your destination and purpose, you'll recognize divine timing more easily

Trust that everything in your life is exactly as it should be right now. Your job isn't to change your circumstances but to extract the information and ask yourself what you need to do differently.

Somebody may have shared it with you, Welcome. If this is not your first time, let's go ahead and do it like we do it. When we do it like we do it, you know what we're going to talk about today. We're going to talk about divine timing.
Speaker 1:Divine timing, you know what I mean when I say divine timing. Here's the irony of it Divine timing there is no timing. You see, do we see Divine timing? There is no time in the divine world. Everything is. How do you know this? D? I don't know. Just through experience. I can only speak from experience. You come on one of my retreats. You'll see what I'm talking about. But here's why I'm saying this. Here's why I want to do an episode on this, on divine timing, because along this journey of bringing heaven to earth meaning, you're bringing the unseen into the scene. We call it manifestation, whatever you want to refer to it, as there's going to have to be an element of trust. But you can't trust if you don't have any awareness of divine timing. So the Greeks refer to this as kairos K-A-I-R-O-S. That was divine timing. That was divine timing that meant that everything happened based on what was needed for the soul's evolution at that time. Hear me when I say this Look at your life.
Speaker 1:How many times do you listen to a podcast or a show, or you read a book, or something pops up in your life and that was exactly what you needed. That was exactly what you needed at that moment. And what do we always say? Divine timing. Everything is divine timing. Everything is divine timing. Everything is divine timing. Everything is divine timing. Those times that you say it was divine, that just meant that you was able to see how it actually showed up in your life and it was a quote, unquote, blessing. But everything is divine timing because the timing of the divine is always on time. You are not trying to hear nothing. I'm saying right now I can look back on my life, on everything I swear follow, everything that's ever happened on my life. I can look back on my life, on everything I swear full, on everything that's ever happened on my life. I can look back and see it was divine, because here's how divine timing works. You don't see it in the future, you only see it in the past. So it could be the death of a child, it could be the divorce, it could be anything. Please know that this is with the divine, all of it. And just because you don't see it doesn't mean that it wasn't divine timing.
Speaker 1:I'm telling you, when I went to Miami and I told you the story last podcast when that lady was there, she was there at the moment that I needed, because everybody knows in this God green earth, I was going to walk up in that Soho house and I was not going to ask nobody where the event was, and if I had not asked, I was going to miss the event that I was supposed to be at. How in the world are you going to miss the event that you were supposed to be at? They built the whole event around you and you weren't even there. But for some reason, that woman was standing in a place that she would fall within my sphere of awareness, meaning I would see her at that moment when I need it. Not only did I see her, we made eye contact. Not only did we make eye contact, she knew who I was. When she saw me, she was looking at an email with my face on it and she said you're in the wrong place. And then, when she went on to tell me later that she had actually been pulled over on the way to the wrong place and if she had not been pulled over she would have been left because she had realized she wasn't supposed to be there. But if she had not been pulled over, if she had not been pulled over, we would not have crossed paths at that point. So now we can go to the police officer, if that police officer who pulled her over had not been at the place that he was at to see her speeding. Do you see how this is all happening? Divine speeding. Do you see how this is all happening? Divine, divine, divine, divine. So before you start questioning God, the universe, source creator, whatever you were referred to it, as before you start questioning it, what you maybe should do is ask how is this divinely orchestrated? So that I would increase my level of awareness? Right now, I'll show you the microcosm of it. I'll show you the microcosm. This is on a smaller level.
Speaker 1:I got a 12-year-old and a 10-year-old right now and I'm teaching them how to learn themselves, how to be more aware of themselves, how to listen to their intuition, how to listen to their body. My daughter, when she was having headaches and she was saying this and saying that she's like I told her. I said listen, you're going to have to start to learn how to become the authority of your own body. Nobody should know your body better than you. You're at an age now where you can start to become more self-aware and start to see how am I thinking what? You depend on somebody else to tell you something about you. We've already started playing the game backwards, so I'm teaching her you gotta be more self-aware.
Speaker 1:So my son he's 12 years old. I've been 12 before. I have been 12 before. I remember when I was 12. Did I figure it all out? No, but I tell you one thing my feet have been at the 12-year mark. My one thing my feet have been at the 12-year mark. My son has not been 13 yet. He's never been 13 in this life. I've been 13 for 365 days. It's not that I'm any better than him, but I understand a little bit more because I have a higher perspective, I have more experience, I have more awareness.
Speaker 1:Do we not understand that this is the way consciousness, god, source, creator, the absolute, this is the vantage point that it has, because it exists outside of the game. It's like when you get the manual for a video game and at level one, here's who you're going to play against. Level two, here's where Bowser comes. In Level three, you already have the blueprint because it exists outside of this physical game that is so limited in the third dimension. So it already knows.
Speaker 1:So I'm telling my son you just need to trust me, you need to trust me, just trust me. When I get you up in the morning, I have you work out and I have you do these things. I have you do this, just trust me. And he says, yeah, but I don't know how. You know the reason why you don't know how to trust me. You know why Because you haven't seen yet how it directly correlates to your life. And this is why I'm saying we don't see the divine timing, because we haven't taken the time to see how this situation correlated into my life. How did this come into my life? This lady right here telling me oh yeah, this is where you're supposed to be at. I could have easily been like, okay, wow, thank you. And kept it moving, but I knew I know, on a deeper level of this 25,000 circumference globe, this woman could have been anywhere. She could have been anywhere in the world anywhere at that moment, but she was right there.
Speaker 1:We're going to sit here and say that that was a coincidence. Some of us but some of us would realize that this was divine timing. So why am I saying this? Because know that everything that comes to you in your life, whether it's good or it's quote unquote bad, it was meant for you. It was meant for you. It was needed. If it showed up in your awareness, it was needed. It was your job to see why you needed it. It was your job to see how it pertained to you. It was on you. So, divine timing.
Speaker 1:When I know and trust that there is a divine that has its own timing, my job isn't to force it. Some of us out here forcing divine timing. Some of us are out here forcing, trying to make things happen, because we're not trusting. Who is this? Raise your hand, go ahead and put your hand up. I can't see you, but I can feel your energy. You over here, trying to force something that you know good and well it ain't going to work. You know good and well that you ain't supposed to be doing this, but see, there's no element of trust because you don't know about divine timing. See, I'm telling you, divine timing right now exists and I know this for a fact. But the reason why we struggle is because life moves forward, but you can't see divine timing until you look back. Hear me when I say this you won't see the divine timing until you look back.
Speaker 1:There was a young man who got drafted in the NFL. He went first round. I forgot what his name was, but you started to hear the stories about his mom. His mom was terminally ill After he got drafted. He went straight to the hospital and he told her I got drafted, I went first round and about an hour or so after that she passed away. And somehow this three-dimensional world is trying to like wow, she passed away. And somehow this three-dimensional world is trying to like, like, wow, she passed away. She waited, of course, of course, of course, of course, she waited, of course. See, you can't. You can't understand divine timing until you understand the way the game works. Everything exists already.
Speaker 1:Raise your hand if you ever have deja vu, raise your hand. Anybody here ever have deja vu? I can't see you, but I can feel you Do. You have deja vu? What is deja vu? I've been here before. Oh my gosh, I feel like I've been here. I literally I feel like I've experienced this before. Of course you've experienced before. Of course you have, you've experienced the preview of it. See, this is for the folks that don't.
Speaker 1:Maybe, if you listen to podcasts, you on a level, I know you on a level, but we will discredit this thing that we call reincarnation. Why is it? Every single, every single person who's had a near-death experience, they always say I had a life review. I saw my whole life flash before me. That was the life review. That was the back end.
Speaker 1:If you have a life review, that means before you came into this existence, you would have had a life preview, the review and the preview. You had the trailer. So every time that you have deja vu, what is this? This is you remembering the preview. This is you remembering the trailer? This is you remembering the preview that you took before you came into this existence. Before you came into this life, you already knew what everything was, and this is what the signs and synchronicities were in your life to show. Yeah, you're on the right track. Yes, keep moving this way. Oh, you remember this. Yeah, we're going to throw you a bone. You remember this part of the preview. You remember this part of the trailer. How many times has this happened, when you watch a trailer in a movie and now you go and watch the movie and you're like, oh, I remember that part of the trailer. This is what you're doing in this existence. So I'm telling you, it's a lot easier to understand divine timing when you understand the way the divine works, when you understand what you actually are.
Speaker 1:This ain't your first rodeo. This may be your first rodeo wearing this outfit. This may be your first life assuming this character as Derek. That may be it, but this ain't my first rodeo. People say, well, how do you know all this stuff? I'm just over here remembering that I already knew in many lifetimes. I'm just remembering. I'm just activating this DNA in this body that holds all information inside of this cosmic universe. I'm just activating with more light, with more awareness, and I'm turning this on and I'm having access to information that's already out there. That's the only thing. But this is not my first rodeo. This is Derek's first rodeo, but I'm not Derek. I'm not Derek, I'm using Derek, you're using Janine, you're using Maria, you're using Michael, you're using John. That's not what you are, do you see?
Speaker 1:So, really, all we're doing is just trying to remember, and when I'm remembering, I'm going to have to understand this thing called divine timing. I'm going to have to understand it. I got to understand it. I know some of us. This is going to fall outside of your belief system. It's going to fall outside of your belief bubble, but I'm not speaking from a place of believing. I'm speaking from a place of knowing, and my knowing may not be your knowing. You still maybe believe or don't believe. I'm only speaking from firsthand experience. I know and believe in divine timing because I've experienced so many times, so many things. It's like, oh my goodness, this could have happened at any time, but it happened right now. This could have been any other way, but it was this way right now. This could have been, and you'll start to see that everything was divine timing Everything the fact that you have found this podcast, the fact that I started this podcast, the fact that I lost everything in 2019.
Speaker 1:The fact that I got involved with somebody to lose everything. The fact that I played for the Harlem Globetrotters, the fact that everything, the fact that I played for the Harlem Globetrotters, the fact that everything, all of it, was divinely placed by the creator of all, every piece of the game, was put in just the right place at just the right time, so you would be able to have the experience that your soul wanted. So, when I tell you, this is why it was so important for us to tap in and understand what we're here to do. This is why I keep telling you you got to trust your intuition, listen to your passions, follow your passions, because this is what the soul came here to do. And when you start following your soul, you're going to start to have more vivid dreams, you're going to start to have more intuitive prompts, you're going to start to have deja vu just a little bit more, because you're starting to remember. You start to get these clues Move here, move that. Damn. That's crazy. I just ran into somebody and now this relationship led to that relationship and it was crazy, and this led to this. Yes, it was the divine timing. You are now tapped into the part of you that the divine is. So now you understand the timing of this. Everything will always align, based on a divine timeline. But this is why it was so important for us to do the healing, so we could get out of the ego, because the ego is what kept you from being divine. The ego is what kept us from living from our divine state.
Speaker 1:So I know people ask what's the point. What's the point then? Why do I keep coming back? Why do I keep coming back? What's the point Now? This is going to fall outside of humanly. It's going to fall outside of the mind, right? What are you here for?
Speaker 1:People say what's the purpose? What's the meaning? You give purpose, you give meaning, you give purpose, you give meaning, you give purpose and you give meaning to life. You do so. My purpose in life, and what means a lot in my life, is different from somebody else, and it was supposed to be that way. So that way, that which is all could experience it from different perspectives. That's what creation is. That's what creation is. That's what creation is. Creation is not me creating something that's already being created. That's called replication. So this is why you were never supposed to be like anybody else. You were never supposed to be or do what anyone else has done. This is why you're supposed to blaze your own path. You were supposed to be the first of firsts, the one of one, the trailblazer, because that's not creation if I'm being like somebody else.
Speaker 1:So, when you look at the nature of the divine, it is creation, and creation does not create things over and over, and over and over and over again. Good God, almighty, why the do you think that there is? Every snowflake that has ever fallen? There's never been the same pattern. Why is it? All of the human beings that have ever lived on earth, no one ever has the same fingerprints? Because the divine cannot create the same thing that it was. The divine cannot create the same thing that it was. So, every time that you come back to experience something, every time that you assume a new existence, the reason why is so you can experience it, it can experience something new, and that, my friends, is the divine foundation Of the divine it's creation.
Speaker 1:So we got this distorted concept of what creation is. Here's what we'll do. We'll watch somebody else do something and go create it, and we think that's creation. That ain't creation, that's replication. You ain't being, you Be. You Do it the way you want it to. And you know what the divine inside of you is saying oh, wow, wow. This is amazing. I get to experience life from this perspective, from this vantage point. I get to interpret it from this vibration, from this frequency. This is why, on a smaller level, I keep telling you you're going to have to learn how to recreate yourself Recreation. Recreation means you are creating something inside of you that has never been created before. Do we see?
Speaker 1:I started this podcast. I thought a podcast meant you sat down with people and you interviewed them. That shit didn't work. It didn't resonate with me. I didn't like that. I did not like that. So, because I didn't like that, guess what I did? I said I ain't going to keep doing this, I'm going to do it my way. And it took me about a year to really step all the way into it. And why is it? When I stepped all the way into it, then everybody wanted to step all the way into it. Then I can't believe we about to hit a million downloads. A million downloads. Do you all understand how wild that is? A million downloads on this podcast, and I just sit here and record it at home.
Speaker 1:I don't do nothing special. I go on GarageBand, I go ahead and go to Buzzsprout and upload it, put a little music before. It was nothing special. But here's the deal it was divinely aligned with me. It was divinely aligned with me, meaning because it's me, it's going to be the best thing ever, because the most real and authentic version of you is the best version of you. So this is why I'm telling you all just be who you are.
Speaker 1:When you are who you are, you'll start to see how divine you actually were, and the timing of everything will be perfect. So now you won't have to be patient because you are patient. So now I know that everything's going to come in line. It's going to fall in line. I ain't got to rush nothing. I ain't got to rush it because I know it's going to happen when it's supposed to. So now we don't have to be in a hurry. We can be thorough, we can trust. So, even though life may look like it's falling apart, I know good and well this thing's falling apart, so it can be built back in a way that this world has never seen before. And that's what I would tell my younger self when it seemed like life was falling apart.
Speaker 1:Fast forward, six years, boy, and watch what happens. And we just get started. We haven't even got started yet. We haven't even started. You haven't even started yet. Think about it. You haven't even started. You're just an infant with this new awareness that you have. You haven't even gotten started.
Speaker 1:Girl, I am telling you let that world crumble, let it be torn down, because something new, something is coming. Something is coming and Deion Sanders would say we coming Now. This divine timing is all amongst you, it's all around you. All you must do is trust, trust, trust, trust, trust, trust that everything in your life is exactly the way it's supposed to be, when it's supposed to be. Your job is not to change it. Your job is to extract the information from it and ask yourself what do I need to do differently? Is this in alignment with where I want to go with my actions right now? Are my actions in alignment with where I want to be in three, four, five, six, seven months, eight years, 10 years, whatever it is? If it's not, what do I need to change? And you'll start to see them. Blessings is on the way. Oh, they coming, they coming. They been on they way, they coming, they are coming.
Speaker 1:But here's the thing. That's why I tell you this is step number one. You're going to have to know what your destination is, and it won't be until you know what your destination is when you'll see the divine timing in everything. See, I couldn't see the divine timing in my life because I didn't know the destination. And the reason why I didn't know the destination is because I thought somebody was going to pick the destination for me. I thought somebody was going to do it for me. I thought somebody was going to build my life for me. I thought somebody was going to do everything for me. I thought all I had to do was for me. And then I realized ain't nobody going to do nothing for you until you pick the destination? You pick the destination and measure your actions, measure what you're doing today and see, is that in alignment with where I want to go?
Speaker 1:And then, when I started to do that, I started to see all these divine synchronicities, divine timing of people and places and things show up at the right time. Yeah, you know why? Because you know where you're going. Now you remember your birth vision. So this is why I was telling you why it was so important for you to remember truly what you actually were and live through that. When you live through that, you'll see that the divine's timing was always, always, always in alignment with your soul's evolution.
Speaker 1:And see my divine timing is not the same as your divine timing, because my soul is on a completely different journey. I have different things that I want to experience and I want to learn. Based off my birth chart, I'm a spiritual and metaphysical and philosophy type of person. I want to learn more about the deeper parts of life. That's my soul. Not every soul is the same, but I trust that everything that shows up in my life was exactly the way it was supposed to be when it was supposed to be, and I didn't always do this. It wasn't until I looked back on my hardships and realized that those hardships actually helped me, that I could have gone through anything at the time and anything and gone everywhere, but look, it happened exactly the way it was supposed to. And going everywhere, but look, it happened exactly the way it was supposed to.
Speaker 1:So I hope this helps you along your journey. I hope that it helps you to better trust that everything that happens in your life is exactly the way it's supposed to be and it's not your job to try and change it. That's not what your responsibility is. Your responsibility was to extract the information so you can change. Your responsibility was for you to learn and grow by self-reflecting, by asking those questions. What is this trying to show me? What is this bringing up in me right now? What is this mirroring inside of me? And when you do this, you'll grow and evolve. And when you grow and evolve, you're creating a new version of yourself.
Speaker 1:And to go back to that first question, why are we here? It was so creation could create. So keep creating, my friend. Keep trusting that this divine timing, that everything in your life is supposed to be the way it is, no matter how hard it may be. It could be the death of something or someone, it could be the most heinous crime. Please know that you won't probably understand the divine timing until you look back on it. And this is what made us so special that we had the ability to reflect. We had the ability to look back. No other creature can do this. This is why no other creature can create its life to the level that we can. So trust T-R-U-S-T. Trust, trust that everything, everything, everything, everything, everything. When I say everything I'm literally saying, everything that comes into your sphere of awareness, was divinely placed for you and, as always, I wish you nothing but the best on the pathway to your results.
