Once you see what you actually are, that you're an infinite, limitless being, you'll see that nothing exists outside of you. I'm your host, derek Grant, and this is the Pathway to your Results Podcast. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pathway Results podcast presented by DG Mindset. It's your boy, dg. I've been wanting to do this but I just had to wait for the right time, and you know, we know, that timing is everything. This podcast is probably more informational, more educational. I guess I'm part Sagittarius, part Ophiuchus, so we're seekers of truth, seekers of knowledge, and then once we have that knowledge, once we have that understanding, we feel this deep desire to share it. So this is more of an educational podcast to give you a little bit more information, to help you to understand. But I get a lot of people.
Speaker 1:I just got back last week from my retreat at a retreat down in Tulum and we ended up having nine beautiful souls go on this ayahuasca retreat for four days and we did one ceremony. But there was a lot of teaching, there was a lot of healing, there was a lot of integration, there was a lot of transformation and to me it was cool because the participants of this retreat they were at such different places, like consciously, right, sorry, different levels of consciousness. You had some people who knew nothing about anything, who, like were here, like for some reason, they felt called to do it. You had some people who'd been on their spiritual journey, their self-development journey, and they were like yo, I'm all in, I'm ready to do this. So to see the different ends of the spectrum, to see the polarity, was interesting for me because I was able to see now, really, how this medicine works on people, based on where they're at. And that's where I kind of want to break this down to help you to understand, right? So I grew up in the Western world, but I've had the privilege of traveling to 70 different countries and spending an extended amount of time in different parts of this world, that I've been able to see how other people live. I've been able to immerse myself in other people's cultures. I've been able to have my boots on the ground and see how other cultures see this thing that we call life.
Speaker 1:But from a Westerner's perspective, because of programs, because of paradigms, because of the way we've been molded to develop our beliefs, we view something such as this plant medicine that we call ayahuasca. We view it as something that's dangerous. We view it as something that's negative because it's been classified and put in the same class as other synthetic drugs. This is not a synthetic at all. This is not man-made. Right, you have the plants of one tree and the vines of another. That's why the name's called ayahuasca. It means vine of the soul, aya means spirit, huasca means vine. So when you understand that it's a living, conscious spirit, it's intelligence, just like every other plant, just like every other living creature. So I'm before it's about a month ago I'm down in Tulum and I'm with the shaman and me and him are just sitting there talking. I'm like how did you know, how did the ancients know, to take two different plants, right, the plant from one tree and then the vines from another, and he goes, and then the vines from another and he goes. My ancestors and those who live in the Amazon are like botanists, they're like chemists, like how you guys have in America. They know naturally what things do. He's like there's over 80,000 different species of plants in the Amazon and we know what each of them does because we live with them, we communicate with them.
Speaker 1:The Western mind can't grasp that. Though the Western mind is very scientific, it doesn't have room for the mystical or the esoteric or the occult perspective. So if we can't measure it, if we can't taste it, if it cannot be quantified or documented, we instantly look at it as oh, this isn't real, oh, this is just. Oh, this is just hallucinations, you're just dreaming, this isn't so. We don't. We don't ever take the time to open up our mind, to have the belief. No, sorry, to open our mind so we can develop new beliefs and see and gain more information around it.
Speaker 1:So I sat here and had this conversation with Jesus and he was breaking everything down and he's like and I knew this kind of already, but the way he was saying it he was like I'll give you an example of how Westerners look at it. He's like I'll have people come for a ceremony with me and they'll ask me can you give me the strongest brew? He's like that's the Western mind, that's not the way we view medicine. It's like when you have something, when you have a headache, you don't go. Hey, can I have the strongest Advil? No, so he's like.
Speaker 1:What people don't understand, first of all, is that this is a living, conscious, breathing spirit. This is why we refer to it. We personify it as Mother Aya, because it's a living, breathing entity that has the ability to develop a relationship with you. So I saw this in my first ceremony. My first ceremony was like wow, I'm literally having a conversation with something in my mind's eye, but I know it's not me, but yet I know it's me, but yet I know it's not me, and it's a feminine energy. There's no words to articulate, you just have to experience it. So here's what I learned by having eight of my own personal ceremonies in the last 365 days and facilitating two ceremonies for others actually three I've been able to see how this medicine works and how transformational is and what it actually does, both from my side, when I actually experienced it, and then watching others going through their journey and they're at different levels of awareness.
Speaker 1:And there's the other thing I want to tell you this Western world does a really good job of creating fear. When something has the ability to transform you, when something has the ability to transform you, when something has the ability to help you to grow and evolve and see more of yourself and see yourself from a higher place of self-worth, from a higher place of self-awareness, this Western world does a really good job of creating fear in your mind to keep from having that growth. Now you couple that with the ego. The ego doesn't want to grow because then it's going to have to kill off a version of itself and its whole means is rooted in survival. It's only here to live, so if it knows it has to die, meaning a part of it has to be given up, that's like its greatest fear, coupled with the misinformation that's out there.
Speaker 1:So the reason why I'm saying this don't take advice from somebody who has never experienced what you're looking to do. That goes for everything in life, for everything. So I started to realize a lot of people have a lot of fear because they haven't experienced it, they don't know, and they're taking advice from someone who hasn't experienced it yet themselves. Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing. I'm saying right now how many times do we do this? How many times will you do this?
Speaker 1:You will go and ask somebody, or somebody will give you their perspective of something Knowing doggone. Well, they themselves ain't never had it. They're going to tell you don't eat at that restaurant. That restaurant's nasty. Well, how do you know? What did you get from there? Well, I don't know, but I heard it was. You ain't even ever had it before. How are you going to tell me something's nasty and you don't know for yourself?
Speaker 1:This is the beauty of this human experience you have the ability to go and experience it for yourself and then you will know, instead of going off of some theoretical, hypothetical solution that somebody else has given you. So this is what I did. I've always told you look, I can't tell you anything that I have not experienced, so I have to go and do it. I have to go and experience it. And here's what I will tell you about ayahuasca. Ayahuasca is not going to fix all your problems. Don't even sit here and listen to the Western world and make you think that ayahuasca is going to fix your problems. It will not do that. But here's what it will do it's going to show you where all your problems are and where they have started it.
Speaker 1:So think of the analogy of like this you have a sink that's leaking and you look up at your ceiling on the floor below and you can see where there's a flood, but you don't know where it is. You don't know where it is. And then what do you do? You call a plumber. You call a plumber. You have somebody come by the house to come look through it. Maybe they'll look through the walls that break through the sink. They will figure out a way to find where this leak is. This is what Mother Aya does she shows you where you're leaking at. She shows you where you have these holes, where these parts of you are no longer serving you See, this is half the battle of us on the self-development journey of what we call life, of us growing and evolving as souls.
Speaker 1:We have to figure out where our wounds are before we can fix them. But you've been living so doggone long with these wounds you don't even know that they're there. Imagine that If I cut your finger off, I cut off the finger on your left hand the day you were born. You would never know what it was like to have an index finger on that left hand. You've been living so long without it, and this is what we've been doing. We've been living so long in shame. We've been living so long in fear. We've been living so long in guilt. We've been living so long seeking other people's acceptance, seeking other's approval. You don't even know that you got a leaky faucet. You have no idea.
Speaker 1:So now here's this intelligence and we can call it God, source, the creator, the universe, whatever you want to refer to it as that works for you. However you personify it, this supreme intelligence that emanates through everything it has created this concoction of taking two different plants and when you put them together, it allows you to see where your, where your faucet is leaking. This is nothing short of amazing. Amazing 80,000 different plants are in the Amazon, and when you take the two plants, you take two different plants and put them together, and here's the beauty of it. If we look at the one plant, which is the leaves, we'll call it chacaruna that's what they refer to as chakaruna that contains something that we call DMT, dimethyltryptamine. Dimethyltryptamine is a chemical that you yourself produce. This is what the United States government has banned. They have deemed this illegal. So if you look at LSD, if you look at MDMA, if you look at acid, all of these things release DMT, but they're synthetics. There is something in nature that produces DMT naturally. This plant that we refer to as the chacaruna is a powerful compound. But here's the beauty of it.
Speaker 1:Do you not know that your body already produces DMT? Not know that your body already produces DMT? Your body produces DMT by itself. When you were born, dmt was released. When you die, dmt is released. When you do breath work, small amounts of DMT are released.
Speaker 1:But see, here's what I don't understand How's something going to be illegal and you yourself produces it? Somebody tell me, please. Somebody help me. They didn't tell you that, did they? You're going to tell me that I can't do. Okay, we'll do this. Imagine this.
Speaker 1:Imagine I'm trying to think here what else your body produces blood? Your body produces blood, correct? Yes, your body produces blood. And then you have to go get a blood transfusion and they talk about if you go get blood, it's illegal. But I produce blood myself. How is it? It's illegal for me to go and get something that I produce myself.
Speaker 1:Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing. I'm saying this is why I've told you, this is why I've told you and I'm not trying to be like no conspiracy theorist it is a war on your consciousness. That's all they wanted. They don't want you to grow, and I say they, it's just the higher, more aware quote unquote powerful parties that needed your lower awareness. They needed your low awareness, because here's why the more aware will always govern the lower awareness.
Speaker 1:So I know I'm jumping around a little bit, but my whole point of this is when you start understanding that DMT is produced by this vine. Your body already produces DMT, but that's not enough, because if you were to just brew the leaves by itself the DMT would not get into your bloodstream because your intestines has these enzymes that would end up basically dissolving it. It would never get into your bloodstream. So now the DMT wouldn't have the effect that it would have if it had reached your brain. So this is where the miracle comes in the vine, the vine that we call the capyvine, c-a-a-p-i, the capyvine. The vine has what we call MAO inhibitors that allow DMT to be taken orally and to get into your bloodstream through the walls of your intestines, through your stomach lining, and then it gets to your brain and it releases this DMT in your brain.
Speaker 1:And here's where Dr Rick Strassman he wrote the book called DMT, the spirit molecule. This is where things science has not figured out. They have not figured this out. The ancients have. The indigenous tribes in the Amazon have. This is where they have not figured this out, science in the Western world.
Speaker 1:Once that DMT hits that brain, once that DMT, those chemical compounds of dimethyltryptamine, reach that brain and you start to release this DMT into your brain even more and it gets into your bloodstream. This is where science in the world, in the Western world, it ain't going to work no more, because you are now in a completely different reality. You are not on the physical plane anymore, the physical laws no longer govern you, you have no ego anymore that projects down the physical plane from the mental plane. And when I'm telling you, this is where only those who have experienced will know, only those who have actually tasted and actually sat with this medicine that I refer to as ayahuasca, the spirit vine, the vine of the soul. Only those who have experienced this will understand what I'm talking about. And it's not something for you to be afraid of, as long as you ain't afraid of yourself, because that's all that's going to happen. You're going to get down to the bottom, to the depths of that which you actually are, to the bottom, to the depths of that which you actually are. So when you start to understand that ayahuasca acts as a non-specific amplifier of what's present in your psyche, highlighting anything from current conflicts to deep unconscious issues, to past lives and mythical revelations, you will start to see how powerful this medicine is Now.
Speaker 1:I'm not by any means a pro, I'm not going to sit here and say this by any means, but I've done it enough and I understand myself enough to this point of awareness to know how it affects me. And I'm going to tell you, I've done it eight times in the last 365 days and every single time I've done it I have had a different experience. No experience has been the same, but here's what I will tell you. I see so much more of myself today than I did the first time I did it, and that, for sure, is what I can speak on. I can tell you, I got a text message from somebody yesterday who attended the ceremony last week, and here's what he said.
Speaker 1:He said I just want to tell you, thank you. I was reviewing some of my first conversations that I've ever had with you and I said I want to get to know myself. And today I thought about how much more I know who I am. Before this retreat, before the ceremony last week, I knew a lot about myself and who I was and what I wanted, but little did I know how little I actually knew until after the ceremony. I see myself completely different now. I know I'm more than just a body. I know you had told me this many times, but it was too hard for me to comprehend. After ayahuasca, I know that feeling and I saw something so beautiful. Thank you again, and I'm so grateful for what you've taught me and what you've shown me about yourself. I'm here to tell you that wasn't me. All I did was help you show you where the water was. You're going to have to be the one who drinks, and this is why I realized why I'm here.
Speaker 1:I told you when I had this awakening, this epiphany, back in 2019, I used to go sit at the park by myself and I didn't know what was going on. I didn't even know what a spiritual awakening was. I didn't know what angel numbers were. I didn't know nothing about spirituality. All I knew was Christianity. I didn't know nothing. And here I am, sitting in the forest, and the woods would speak to me. The plants would speak to me, the trees would speak to me and they said you're here to help people remember what they were, and I'm here to tell you. This is what this plant medicine does. This plant medicine doesn't do anything other than show you who you actually are, because we forgot. We forgot this was part of the game when we came into this. Human experience was crossing over the veil and playing peekaboo and hide and go seek with ourselves so we could forget what we were to remember. And I know you ask yourself why would we come into this knowingly forgetting? Because that was the only way that your behind was going to learn. It was the only way that we were going to learn and here's what I know a lot of people have. This is what we'll do.
Speaker 1:People who have not experienced it. They will talk about the purge. They'll talk about the purge. They'll talk about you vomiting. They'll talk about you diarrhea and they'll make it sound like the worst thing and they themselves have not experienced it. But here's what I will tell you of this too. Them same ones who's scared of vomiting. It'd be probably the same ones who was at that night at the bar and they drank too much and vomited that way. But they didn't have a problem with that. When they were taking back those Smirnoffs, they didn't have the problem. Then when they were taking that Grey Goose back to the back of their throat, they didn't have that problem. Then here's what I have to tell you about the purge. The purge is not a purge of physical. Yes, you will throw up. Yes, you will vomit, sometimes you will, sometimes you won't. Yes, you may have diarrhea, sometimes you will, sometimes you won't. It's not the physical throwing up of your stomach, releasing and getting rid of something that's in your gut. It is the releasing of psychological energies that do not belong in your energetic subtle bodies anymore. Do you hear what I'm saying? So I look.
Speaker 1:My first time I went, I was trying to hold it in like a champ and this is the other thing that the Western mind will do. We will fight it and we will fight it and we will fight it. I had that retreat last week. I said, good God, almighty. I told these people on this retreat I know y'all are listening to this right now I told you to just let go, let go. And I realized Americans don't know how to let go. The Western world doesn't know how to let go. I know this because the first ceremony I had, I said, okay, I know I got to let go, I know I got to let go. I'm over here trying to hold on to letting go. I'm over here. I'm sick as a dog. I feel like I'm about to oh my gosh, nope, you got to hold on, just let go, just let go.
Speaker 1:While I'm trying to let go, I'm actually controlling, trying to let go, so I'm not actually letting go, and I couldn't throw up, I couldn't purge. Now, when I came back the second time, it was so much easier for me to purge and I purged. Oh my goodness, when I let go and got that stuff up out of me the shame, the guilt, the regret, the fear. When I released that subtle energy of the mind and it came up through my gut gut and I released the fears and the traumas of my ancestors that I was able to see in my mind's eye Because once that DMT kicks in, you will literally see whatever was in the psyche. And once I let go of that, I had the next four to five hours of pure bliss. I got to experience myself as that of which I actually am. I got to go back to the origins of my beginnings, back when I was on a completely different star system.
Speaker 1:It was something that words will never articulate, but my point of this is this Boy, mother Aya was dragging me around, saying if you do not let go, if you do not let go, you will never see all that which you are. And here's when I'll say this, because mother ayah is just like anything else. Ayahuasca is just like anything else. It's outside of you. It's outside of you. It's not something that I encourage you to develop a dependency on. It's like this Don't go and do steroids. Obviously, steroids aren't good for you, but here's the analogy I'll use Don't go do steroids if you ain't going to lift weights anyway.
Speaker 1:Now someone says do I have to do steroids to get big muscles? No, you don't. Do I have to do ayahuasca to heal? No, you don't. You can absolutely continue to do what you're doing. Be intentional. Do I have to do ayahuasca to heal? No, you don't. You can absolutely continue to do what you're doing. Be intentional. Do your journaling, do your meditation, Do your shadow work. Do that every day. Yes, absolutely, you do not need ayahuasca. I'm not going to sit here and tell everybody you need to do ayahuasca. No, you don't. Absolutely, you do not.
Speaker 1:The work that you do on yourself matters. It's like you're using a garden shovel. You're going to be able to dig, for sure. You can probably dig to the center of the earth. It may get challenging at some point, but you can dig just as far using a garden shovel without plant medicine as you can with a bulldozer aka plant medicine, aka ayahuasca. That's all ayahuasca is. That's all she is. It ain't nothing more than a bulldozer. So you can get deeper just a little bit quicker.
Speaker 1:And then here's the deal. You're going to go back home. You're going to go back to the concrete jungle. You will go back to your life. Please don't think that those problems won't come back up. Please don't think that those fears won't come back up. They absolutely will. But now you have the awareness, you now know the magic tricks of the ego. You now see the roots of your fears so you can work on it.
Speaker 1:Do you see how this works?
Speaker 1:So I'm not coming up here saying you need to go do ayahuasca. No, it isn't like that. It is nothing more than a tool. It's a tool, that's all. But here's the thing. This is what Americans do a really good job at. They develop an attachment and a dependency to the tool, and now the tool becomes a part of us, and now we slowly start to develop this thing that we call attachment and anything that you are attached to hear me when I say this anything that you are attached to that is outside of you, will eventually become your master, and if it's the master of you, you inevitably become a slave to it. I see this happen so often, where people feel like they have to keep going back and keep doing it and keep doing it and keep doing it, because they're not integrating the lessons and they're using this thing as a way to bypass it, the journey, bypass the lessons that they need to learn. So, as with everything, as with me, as with any of the resources I provide, all it is all Mother I is here to do is help you, to help yourself. She's showing you what you couldn't see before, in a way that you will only be able to understand.
Speaker 1:So, yes, there will be purging, there may be diarrhea. Look, I've done it all. I've purged, I've vomited, I've diarrhea in the jungle, I've what else? I've cried, I've sweated my behind off, I've gone through all of these things and I've yawned. That's a part of purging.
Speaker 1:Each one of these things was based on what was needed and the depth of the healing that needed to take place. So this was why, if somebody would have told me five years ago I'm going to be honest with you Somebody told me five years ago that I'd be holding retreats, that I would be helping to facilitate healing using ayahuasca, I would say you're lying. There's no way. I don't even know what ayahuasca was there ain't no way I'm going to do that. But here's the beauty of life Life will take you exactly where you're supposed to be. And now here I am, and the reason why I'm doing this is because I fought it for so long. I fought it for so long. No, I'm a basketball player. No, I'm this. I'm an athlete. I'm this.
Speaker 1:No, that was one of the roles that you assumed in this experience. You're here to help people help themselves so they can learn how to heal, and I've seen the transformation. I've seen the change. I've seen it, and it didn't matter if there was people there who struggled with addiction. There's people there who struggle with depression. There's people who struggle with all of these things. And to see different levels of awareness, to have them experience a transformation, have change, and for me, to experience in my own life. Now I see why I'm here, I see what I'm doing and then, anytime that you find a shaman that works for you, that's everything. My shaman has literally been manifested and called into my life.
Speaker 1:I told you the story right. His name was Jesus. I asked this question months before did Jesus wear blue jeans? And I get down there and this guy's wearing blue jeans. First time I meet him he's wearing blue jeans. I'm in the ceremony. I'm like whoa, this dude's wearing blue jeans. His name is Jesus. Jesus is Jesus. Jesus does wear blue jeans. That was my higher self when I was. Did Jesus wear blue jeans? He does. In the relationship that me and him have and I will tell you this one of the greatest compliments that I had a lady shout out to Tish Tish if you listen to this from Michigan.
Speaker 1:She was on a retreat in January. She said I feel so safe. I feel so safe when I'm here and I take for granted. This is what we call male privilege. I'm a male, I'm going to say it. James Brown says it's a man's world. I don't worry about not being safe. I can protect myself. But I realized that a lot of women and I talk to my wife about this all the time she's like you don't realize. When I get on an elevator, I have to make sure if I'm by myself, I'm protected. I'm by the door. If I walk in a parking garage. I'm like dang, I don't ever think about that. That's what we call male privilege.
Speaker 1:And she said when I came to this retreat, when I was in the jungle, when I was in the ceremony, all of it, I felt so safe. I felt safe and unbeknownst to me. This is one of the things that I sought and looked for when I was a child. So I value safety. I value a safe space, a sacred space of you being able to be vulnerable, being able to be authentic, being able to share your deepest and darkest wounds. Because that's the deal, you know, ceremony is one day, but we got two other days of teachings where I'm sitting down, talking to you, I'm teaching you, I'm helping you, I'm coaching you, we eat dinner together, we eat lunch together, we eat breakfast together, we do dinner together, we eat lunch together, we eat breakfast together, we do yoga together. Literally, you adopt a new family in these four days and I've seen the transformation when you have a like-minded community around you. There is nothing like it and that's really what helps with the integration when you get back home.
Speaker 1:So I just wanted to make this podcast is something that's almost like an educational podcast to anyone who's been feeling called Like I've been curious, but I'm scared. Look, if you're scared, that's understandable. If you're afraid, that's understandable. I was a little anxious at first, but I knew that this was something that was calling me and you'll know when it's time. It's not for everybody, it's not. I'm not going to sit here and say like everybody, no, it's not, it's not for everybody. Just like certain type of workouts aren't for every type of body, some people are ready for it and you will know when you're ready for it. So, yeah, know when you're ready for it. So yeah, there's going to be vomiting sometimes. There's going to be crying, there's going to be sweating, there's going to be diarrhea.
Speaker 1:This is a part of it. There's going to be visuals and messages and deep realizations. This is a part of it. You're going to get insights about yourself and get deeper into who you are. You're going to have secrets, and I've had this experience too. But one retreat attendant she was like I could ask the universe anything, any question. I got the answer. I've had that happen. You're going to get downloaded with a bunch of wisdom and the challenge will be can I integrate this new information into my life when I go back? So we've got a retreat coming up here in May May 16th through the 19th. I'm taking small groups. I want it to be super small, sacred, intimate. This is sacred to me. I've been putting off even having this podcast Talking about this because it's so sacred to me. And then we're going to do another one in October.
Speaker 1:And you know, from what I found, if you have been doing the work on yourself and you've been intentional and you've really been on your journey, this medicine will give you a bump, it'll give you a push to get you up over that hill. And then here's the deal Once you get it, once you do it, it's almost like when you start learning how to ride a bike. All you got to do is have somebody hold that seat for you so you can get going. Once you get going, now you can go and ride that thing, you can ride that thing. So I know why I'm here. I know what I'm here to do.
Speaker 1:I fought it for a long time. I fought it for a long time, but I know now I'm here to help individuals see all that, what they are Through this retreat myself, partnering with Jesus, the shaman, the jungle, mother Aya. I have some wonderful people who help facilitate this. This is like the evolution of man it's using this medicine to help us to see what we are. And then here's the beauty Once you see what you are, nobody can ever tell you what you were not ever again. You will come back into this world, I'm telling you.
Speaker 1:After you sit with the medicine, you are going to see what you actually are. And here's the deal. The medicine is going to show you both sides. It's going to show me who I am, through the negative and maybe dark. I've had those.
Speaker 1:I had Rough ceremonies in the sense that I got to see the deepest, darkest shadows, the points of my fear, the abuse, the shame, the guilt, and I had to deal with it. I had to sit with it. That was a quote-unquote dark ceremony, but here's what it did it showed me all the parts of me that I am no longer and I can let them go. I've had positive ceremonies where I've seen myself as the universe. I've been one with the ants, one with the birds, one with the ocean. I've seen it from this euphoric state, but it was still showing me the same thing. It was showing me who I actually was and what I was. So the beauty of it is.
Speaker 1:It's why I tell you, if you are not afraid of yourself, if you are not afraid of yourself, it will show you what you actually are. It will show you what you are, and that's all. If you are okay with seeing what you are and going into your shadows, I'm telling you it will change the trajectory of your life. This is coming from firsthand experience. I can only speak for me. I cannot speak for anybody else. I'm telling you, I will never not do this. I will never not do this, at least twice a year. I use this as a way let me get the intel, let me get the information, and then I got six months to work on myself and then I'll do it again. And then I got six months, and I use this as that bump up to get me up to the next level of awareness and consciousness, so that I may be a better father, I may be a better husband, I may be a better son, a better coach, a better mentor, a better leader, a better human being.
Speaker 1:And I'm here to tell you this my beautiful wife Carly, the very first time I ever did ayahuasca and had this ceremony. She was right there and she did it too. Now, if somebody would have told me that Carly Sue Clendenin Grant would ever be doing ayahuasca, I would have said you better get out of my face with these bald-headed lies. And she said it so beautifully and so eloquently. When, after the ceremony, we sat and talked she goes. It showed me the parts of myself that I was scared to look at. She's like. It made me appreciate myself just a little bit more, though, and that's all this medicine does. Mother Aya will show you who you are before you forgot.
Speaker 1:So I'm encouraging everybody anyone here if you feel like the medicine's been calling you and you want to take the next step and you want to develop this deeper connection with yourself in a safe environment, a safe, sacred space. This is why I make my retreats all-inclusive, because I don't want you to worry about nothing when you get down there. I had two young ladies. They said do we have to bring any money? I said you don't have to. I mean, I would never advise you to leave your house without having a couple of dollars in your pocket, but when you get this retreat, you ain't got to worry about nothing. Everything will always been taken care of your food, everything. You ain't got to worry about nothing. I want you to get here and just focus on yourself. You ain't got to worry about whether you're safe. You ain't got to worry about whether you're protected. You ain't got to worry about being vulnerable.
Speaker 1:I have done the work on myself to create a safe space for myself, to be vulnerable and be authentic with myself so others can do the same. So I just had to put this out here and educate you, because I've been having a lot of things pop up on my feed of people saying, well, ayahuasca is bad and all this. These monkeys, they ain't never done it before. And if somebody has a quote unquote bad trip, there's a lot of factors that go into it, more than just you having a bad trip. That's the thing I know a lot of people want to hear about. Well, what if I have a bad trip? Well, we have to understand that serotonin is going to be released from your brain. So if you're on antidepressants, do not do ayahuasca, because antidepressants will increase the rate of serotonin being released in your brain. Coupled with ayahuasca, it's going to be a not so enjoyable experience for you. So don't do that.
Speaker 1:I was seeing all these dark entities. Those dark entities were nothing more than your consciousness on a deeper level being personified. I've seen snakes. I've had snakes wrapped around my legs in my ceremonies. The black jaguar came to me All of these things. I've seen elves. I've seen these demonic things, but I know those are nothing more than projections of my own mind and I have to ask myself what emotion is this inside of me that's being personified as this snake? This was part of the integration. Mother, I said these are your fears, these are your fears and you seeing this black jaguar, aka this black panther, this was the only thing that could kill those fears, meaning you're going to have to adopt a warrior's mentality to go after these fears, to step into who you actually are. Do you see the power of this medicine Now? When I get back? It's my responsibility now to act against my fears, to be the jaguar to kill my fears, to take that step towards those things that I'm afraid of, and this is how this medicine has helped me evolve.
Speaker 1:So please understand that this medicine doesn't do what you want it to do. It ain't going to do what you want it to do. It ain't so we can set our intention and say I want to do this. It's going to give you and do what you need so you can get to the root of your problems. So the more that you fight it, the more that you resist it when you're in it, the rougher it's going to be for you and not rougher in the sense it's bad, it's just going to be. You're going to deal with the shadows a lot more. So I'm here to tell you this this medicine is transformational. If you're at a place in your life that you feel like the medicine is calling you and here's the beauty of it the medicine will call you.
Speaker 1:The medicine was calling me for three sorry, about two years, two years before I actually did it. I started to become curious. I started to start wanting to know more about the medicine. I started doing research and watching documentaries and talking to people who've actually done it and then, all of a sudden, things would start to come into my life. And then I finally had the opportunity to do it and I did it with my life partner, who we've done this life, done lives many times before, and to see the transformation that has happened in our family, the growth, I mean it's, I mean it's I, me and her were having a talk and she's like well, I don't know if I need to do it again. I did, it's not time and I can't force her to. It's not my job, because every soul is moving at its own pace. So if you feel like the medicine's calling you, you can go to dgmindsetcom.
Speaker 1:Go to dgmindsetcom, I do have spots. I think I got like three spots left in May. I got some spots left in October. I mean, they're selling out fast. We sold seven spots last week. I'm only taking 12 people. We sold seven spots last week. I'm only taking 12 people. I'm only taking 12. We sold seven last week, like that. So go to dgmindsetcom to find out more information. But this is. I believe that this was so needed. So over what's the word Overdue? This conversation was overdue. But as always, you know I'm going to be right here championing you until you keep going, keep going, keep growing, keep evolving, keep figuring out who you are, keep healing and, as always, I wish you nothing but the best on the pathway to your results.
