Speaker 1:

Once you see what you actually are, that you're an infinite, limitless being, you'll see that nothing exists outside of you. I'm your host, derek Grant, and this is the Pathway to your Results Podcast. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pathway to your Results podcast, presented by DG Mindset. It is your boy, dg. We are here.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness, I've been holding off on this episode here for a while. I just waited for the right time. I guess everything happens when it's supposed to happen divine timing, right. But this episode, when I started this journey of really wanting to conquer and unlock and get out of my own way, this concept was something that stood out to me. Right, because we always I mean, you know, coming from the athletic world we always hear like mindset, mindset, mindset, mindset. But you know the Sagittarius in me, for all my Sagittarius warriors out there, sagittarius, we're in Sagittarius season right now.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to know what is the mind, how the mind works, what is it why? And something that I think we don't touch on everybody out here is a mindset guru, right, everybody's a mindset coach and they teach mindset. I'm telling you this right now If there's not a spiritual element intertwined with it, you're never really going to fully conquer your mind, you're never going to fully be able to use your mind as a tool. Here's what I mean by spiritual. I'm going to break this down for you. I'm going to make it simple so you can understand it. If I'm speaking over your head, you let me know. I'll come down just a little bit lower. But there's bare minimum things that we got to understand in order for us to unlock and create the lives that we were destined to create. Nobody, and this is just my perspective. I do not believe that we came here not to create our lives how we want it. I do not believe that we came here to just live life in a lacking, scarce mindset, with doing just enough to get by without creating and living through this divine nature of abundance and that which we actually are. That's just my perspective. You're abundant by your birthright. You don't have to become abundant, you don't have to obtain abundance. That is what you are, but you first have to recognize what you are. So when we start understanding that we're living on three different planes of existence the spiritual plane, the mental plane, the physical plane I'm going to make this really simple for you to get you to understand this. This is a podcast about mindset, but if you ain't bringing the spiritual element in, I don't want to hear nothing about it, because without spirit, without consciousness, you will not fully be able to conquer your mind, meaning, if you do not have the awareness of that, what you actually are, it's going to be damn near impossible for you to be able to use this tool of that what you actually are. It's going to be damn near impossible for you to be able to use this tool, and that tool is going to whoop your butt and it's going to be a weapon, and this is what we see in our world right now.

Speaker 1:

If you look back, way back, when Isaac Newton, sir Isaac Newton was coming up, I actually ordered a book I forgot what it's called, I think, isaac Newton's Lost Papers, and basically everything this guy was. He was an esotericist, right. He understood the underlying, the unseen world, what we would refer to as the spiritual world, and when he was coming up with all these laws, the laws of gravity, and understanding how everything worked on the physical plane, the only way you could understand the physical plane was for you to understand the spiritual plane, because you'd have to understand the plane above, because the plane above is what governs the plane below. Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing that I'm saying right now. I'm going to make it simple for you. How in the world do you want to conquer and create your physical life if you have not yet conquered and taken control of the mental plane that's above? So Sir Isaac Newton knew all of this Because of the way the world was at the time, and I've talked about this before on podcasts.

Speaker 1:

Basically, the church was like no, you don't talk about the spiritual world, the church handles the spiritual world. You stay with the physical world. You keep talking about the physical laws and everything. We'll take care of all the spiritual laws. We'll take care of the spiritual world. You keep talking about the physical laws and everything. We'll take care of all the spiritual laws. We'll take care of the spiritual world.

Speaker 1:

So now what ends up happening is the spiritual plane gets wrapped up in religion. But religion hold on now. Religion is a mental thing. Religion happens on the mental plane. So we never even get to the plane above.

Speaker 1:

Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing that I'm saying? So, when you see, other animals don't have religion, and I got nothing against religion, but religion can only get you so far. If you hear what I'm saying. Religion will only get you so far in the sense of what you actually are, because we have to understand religion intellectually. You can only understand it intellectually to a point and it's not going to get you to the spiritual plane. I'm trying to get y'all to the spiritual plane. So when we start understanding the split of where spirituality and science got mixed up. Science is the measurement of the physical world, but we know that the physical world is nothing more than a reflection in the manifestation of the mental world and the mental world is nothing more than a reflection of the spiritual world. We have to start there. So I know a lot of people who are mindset gurus. They don't want to talk about the mindset, they don't want to talk about the spiritual world.

Speaker 1:

But here's the analogy I'll give you. You have a painter and you have a canvas. The spirit is the painter, consciousness, consciousness, if you hear there's two words Conscious and ness, which is awareness, conscious, awareness is the painter and your mind, the mental plane, is the brush. So the quality of your painting, which is what we will call your reality, because that's the canvas, right, it depends on how you brush, stroke and use the brush, which is your mind. But if I don't have control or meaning, I don't even realize that I have a brush, because I don't even realize that I'm the painter, aka the spirit, how in the world am I going to sit here and be able to paint my life like the way I need to? How am I going to paint my life the way I want? I'm not going to be able to.

Speaker 1:

So all, not all, but most Eastern philosophy, eastern teachings, they were teaching you this, whether it was the Advaita and Vedanta, or it was Buddhism or it was Hinduism, they were always emphasizing the distinction between the true self consciousness, the self spirit, a spirit, and the mind. They were not the same thing. But here in our Western world, we don't get to the spiritual plane and we try to govern the mental plane, but not knowing that the mental plane was just a byproduct of what spirit was using for. So Eckhart Tolle I believe we all know Eckhart Tolle right, there's a philosopher, the teacher, spiritual teacher. He wrote the book the Power of Now.

Speaker 1:

What's the other one? The New Earth. He said it best. He said you are not the thoughts you think, you are the awareness observing them. You are the awareness, observing them. You are not, your thoughts, you're not, you're not. And I knew this. I knew this already.

Speaker 1:

But when I went and sat in that cave for five days and I was able to not have anything in, I couldn't. My physical senses were rendered useless. I mean, it's pitch black. As my daddy would say, black is 20 nights. I realized that these thoughts keep playing. These thoughts keep going over and over and over again, but my physical reality is damn near non-existent because I'm sitting in pitch black.

Speaker 1:

So now I'm realizing I'm able to just observe my mind. See, here's what ends up happening. The mind's creating all of this stuff. And then you're looking at the physical world, thinking that the physical world is really against you. You think that life is really hard. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That was just the canvas. There's a brush that is painting this right now. There is a brush that is slowly sweeping across the canvas of your reality, and this is what you think is reality.

Speaker 1:

But there has to be something that is aware. Ask yourself that I'm having these thoughts right now. But how do I know that I'm having these thoughts? How do I know that? So I used to sit at a park and just watch and just observe and just sit with my eyes closed from time to time and I realized wait a minute, I'm not the light. That is, if we were to have the analogy of a flashlight and the flashlight is shining on a dark room and then all of a sudden you turn the light on and now I'm shining it on a couch. I'm not the couch, I'm not even the light, I was the flashlight and the light was being projected from it onto the couch. But most of us think that we're the couch or we will think that we are the light. You were not the light, you were not the light, you were the flashlight. You were not the paintbrush, you were the painter.

Speaker 1:

So now that we know this, now we can start to govern this thing that we call our mind, because we realize that we are not our mind. How in the world can you drive a car if you think that you're the car? You cannot. You had to realize that you were the driver. You were the one that was using the car as a vehicle, as a vessel. This is what spirit is doing. Spirit is using mind as a vehicle to create a physical reality spirit, mind, body.

Speaker 1:

But, like I said before, a lot of us we don't get to the place of pure awareness. Why? Because a lot of us are afraid to be with the self. I'm going to go ahead and let that marinate for a little bit, because I don't think you hear what I'm saying right now. A lot of us are afraid to be with ourself, because if we're with ourself now, we're going to have to be with just our mind. And if we were just with our mind, guess what the mind's saying? Oh no, if we're just with the mind now, you may figure out that I'm not real. I'm not actually what you thought we were. I'm nothing more than a filter. That's all I was. I was just a filter, I was just a speaker that it was coming out of.

Speaker 1:

So in order to do this, you're going to have to unplug yourself from this reality, from this matrix that had us so plugged up. You will have to put your phone down. You're going to have to tell them, kids, to hush for a little bit and close that door. You are going to have to be with the self, and this is why stillness, this is why being quiet is so powerful. So the mind is a tool, is so powerful. So the mind is a tool.

Speaker 1:

That isn't who you are, though. That isn't who you are. You're not the mind, you're not your thoughts, you're not your perspective, you're not your beliefs. Good God, almighty, y'all ain't trying to hear nothing I'm saying right now you want to have a crisis, you want to have a crisis. Do you want to have a crisis? Take about 90 days to break down your beliefs and realize that all of them were just your beliefs and none of them were actually real. They were just being created on the mental plane.

Speaker 1:

So now, why am I saying this? The mind is absolutely what we use in this physical plane, but if you don't have the awareness that you weren't the mind, then how in the world are you going to be able to use it? It's like I said with the analogy of the car. If you think that you're a car, you're not even going to park it in a parking spot. You're going to freak out when somebody gets close to you because you thought that you were the car. We see this happen sometimes. Somebody gets a nice, luxurious car and they'll go park it off on their own. They don't want anybody else around because unconsciously, they view the car as them.

Speaker 1:

But what if? What if we recognize that everything, everything including the wounds, the trauma, the narratives that I'm still holding on, were nothing more than projections and stories that the mind had created. But I am none of those things. I am the awareness of those projections, I am the awareness of those beliefs, I am the awareness of that perspective. Do you see how this works? So I have to give you some attributes of that which you actually are, that which you actually are, the self, the I am. What else do we refer to as the spirit is infinite and therefore, if it's infinite, that means there is no time, there is no limitation, aka it is only abundant. You see what I'm saying. So if you're infinite, that which you actually are, how in the world can you know? Hold on, you ain't trying to hear me right now. Let me go ahead and stop, because you're not trying to hear nothing. I'm saying If you're infinite, how in the world could something in the physical reality or on the mental plane ever truly harm you or stop you? So this is how we unlock the next level, and there's levels, because you are infinite.

Speaker 1:

It was about removing the parts of me on the mental plane, the parts of me, the stories that I'm telling, removing those limitations so I would be able to see more of the self, able to see more of the self. And do we not know that this is what the game of consciousness was? This is what the game of this universe was? Could this thing, this self-emanating force, see more of itself in infinite perspectives? This is what the game was, and I know maybe I'm speaking over some of our heads right now, but I'm going to break it down to make it easy for you. So if you look at the hermetic principles, right, the first law there's. The hermetic principles were developed thousands of years ago. They say these are the seven laws that govern the mental plane, but the first play, the first rule, the first law, was the law of mentalism, basically stating that the mind operates like a mirror and that our external world is reflecting the inner state of our thoughts, our emotions and beliefs.

Speaker 1:

You ever been robbed by somebody? Let's just say metaphorically, or let's just say hypothetically, you've been robbed by a homeless person, or you've been held up gunpoint by somebody who looked a certain way? Every time that you see somebody who looks like that, how are you going to feel? You're going to feel fear, you're going to clutch your purse, you're going to feel, oh no, oh no, what if they rob me? These are all things that are happening within your own mind. But somebody who has never experienced that, who's never been robbed, who's never dealt with someone who looked like that, a homeless person, whatever they're not going to have the same perspective. They're going to have a completely different reality, a completely different experience. So you start to understand the law of mentalism, excuse me.

Speaker 1:

It basically states that all is mind, meaning that reality originates from your thoughts that were derived from consciousness, your thoughts that were derived from consciousness. The conscious awareness allows you to steer your thoughts. And this, folks, is what we call mindset, your mindset, your mind set. Where do I set my mind? If I set my mind in the lower frequency, then spirit consciousness will experience its physical reality through these lower vibrations. Consciousness will experience its physical reality through these lower vibrations, which are the complete opposite of that which it actually is. So we have the ability to autonomously choose where we put our mindset. So I could put my mindset in a state of abundance and be in alignment with that, what I actually am, or I could put my mindset in a place of scarcity, of lack of victim consciousness, and that too would be how spirit would experience the physical reality. But here's the beauty of it Either way, whether you come from the negative polarity of lack of scarcity of victim consciousness, or you come from the divine nature, your abundant mindset, your abundant nature, regardless of what you choose, you're going to find out and experience more of the self. One's going to be through the negative, one's going to be through the positive.

Speaker 1:

Now, I know what you're saying right now. You're probably saying it's not that easy. Well, it's not that easy. That too is nothing more than a perspective or a belief that your mind has conjured up. If you believe that it's not easy, then it will not be easy. If you believe that it is hard, then it will be hard. Do we not see that we are creating our reality by the story that we are telling ourselves, because we think this is hard and we say that this isn't easy, but someone on the other side of the world, who meditates every day, who sits on the side of a mountain, says yes, it's simple. All you must do is X, y and Z. Do we see? We don't even have the awareness, most of the time to realize that we are creating our reality. So if you think it's hard, guess what that mother is going to be hard. I'm just here to tell you that right now, I ain't got nothing else to say. I could probably go ahead and get off right now. If you say that it's easy, if you say that I'm going to figure this out, then that will be what you experience, point blank. And when times do get hard, you ain't going to give up because you have a story that's playing saying I'm going to figure this out and you're going to keep going. So this is where I'm telling everybody right now I ain't got no time in 2025. I got no time for it. I got no time for it. I got no time for it For us telling ourselves the same story and just sitting back and watching us, watching ourselves lock ourselves in the jail of our own mind, and then sitting here and complaining that we are locked up and we can't get out.

Speaker 1:

Do you not realize that you are the one who put yourself in there and you have the key? And I know for a lot of us this is going to sting, this is going to be hard, and I don't mean to come down on you right now, but there's a level of accountability that's going to be hard, and I don't mean to come down on you right now, but there's a level of accountability that's going to be needed. And when you have this level of accountability, then then you can start using the mind as you choose. But until we get to the level of awareness of that which we actually are, we're never going to be able to use the mind for what it was intended for.

Speaker 1:

So if you have something in your mind called the reticular activity system here's when I say this I have to backpedal, because modern science will make you think that the brain and the mind are the same thing. The brain and the mind are not the same thing. You got that three pound or eight pound, I don't know how much the brain weighs, I have no idea. You got a brain sitting inside of that skull right now. That is not your mind. That is not your mind. The mind is everywhere, all of the time. Dr Joe Dispenza said it best when he referred to it as a unified field.

Speaker 1:

The ancients referred to this as the universal mind. The mind is everywhere. How do we know that? Well, I'll tell you how. Go ahead and close your eyes Not if you're driving, though. If you're driving, go ahead and pull over, close your eyes, and I want you to sit here and think about your big toe on your right foot, and if you don't have a big toe on your right foot, think about the one on the left, and if you don't have that, think about some other part of your body. Do not move it, and try and feel it without moving it. You see what you're doing right now. You're putting your conscious awareness on that place. Your brain, though, is still inside of your skull, and you're putting your conscious awareness, also known as consciousness, right there. So, wherever you put your conscious awareness, that must mean that the mind must be there as well. So the mind is everywhere. How many times do we do this? You worry about something, okay, you worry about something that happened, or maybe hasn't even happened yet, and your mind is off somewhere else. Your mind is off in a completely different reality than what's happening right now, but you're experiencing it, which means that your mind is not only here. It would have to be there as well.

Speaker 1:

When you start studying the esoteric texts, and I highly suggest everybody, go and purchase the Kybalion. You can get it on Amazon. I forgot how much it costs. Get yourself the Kybalion. This is the ancient hermetic principles. It was teaching you how the mental plane worked. It was teaching you all of the laws. Just like we have physical laws on the physical world, there's laws on the mental plane as well Laws on the mental plane as well. When you understand how those work now you start to understand that your mind is everywhere, but we are able to put our consciousness or conscious awareness wherever we please.

Speaker 1:

So if you only look at things from being lacked, lacked I just made up a word If you look at it from a place of lack, if you look at it from a place of lack, if you look at it from a place of being the victim, if you look at a place from never having enough scarcity, that will be what you see in your life. That will be what you experience in your life. So, mindset I got to be able to set my mind, but I have to know who's the one changing the thermostat. And you think of it like this your mindset is like a thermostat. You go and turn the thermostat up on your wall, that thermostat. When you turn it there. That's where it's going to keep it at. So if I put my mindset in a certain frequency, a certain vibration, that will be through which spirit sees everything. Through that pure awareness Do we see?

Speaker 1:

So here's the next part when we start to think that or understand that your mind is creating reality, through your intentions, through where you put your focus, through your emotions. But it is awareness, it is the spiritual self, it is the I am that's providing the infinite potential for creation. So this is why I'm telling you right now anything that you can believe, anything that you can imagine, that means you would have already had the capability to create it, because you cannot imagine something that you did not already have the capability of creating. So your imagination is nothing more than spirit letting mind know I got something here that's infinite. Let's bring this mother into physical reality. Let's bring this thing into physical reality. Let's bring this thing into physical reality, because here's the deal, here's what we don't understand, here's what I got to get. I'm sorry, y'all, I'm sorry, as we say, I'm in that mode right now. I'm in that zone.

Speaker 1:

Your imagination was the tool, was the tool that was linked to the spiritual self. It was the thing that was infinite. Think about your imagination. Look at your kids. I talked many a time about my daughter. My daughter's got the biggest imagination. I got a big imagination. I can think of anything, and if I can think of it, meaning if I can bring it into existence sorry, if I can think of that, this is a possibility. That possibility would have to exist. And if it has to exist, the infinite nature of that which I actually am is basically saying yo, you know, you can do this right. You know this is actually a possibility. You do realize this right.

Speaker 1:

But here's what ends up happening Our infinite nature will imagine something and then we start to go through the mind. We start to go through the mind and the mind now wants to figure out how are we going to do this? The mind's going to say, yeah, but nobody like you has ever done this before. The mind's going to be searching around for proof, because the mind's always paying catch up. The mind's always trying to catch up to the infinite nature. That was timeless. You hear what I'm saying? I'm dropping bars right now. The mind is trying to play catch up to our infinite nature. How are you going to play catch up when something was infinite.

Speaker 1:

But if we don't have the awareness of that which we actually are, we can't use it for how it's intended to be used, to be used. So this is where I guess you can say manifestation comes in, if you look at manifestation, manifestation, manifestation, manifestation, man, man, man was thinker. Men means to think, man was the thinker. Men means to think Mental, mental, manifest manipulation. We've talked about this before. Anytime we see the word M-A-N, this means it's something happening on the mental plane. So for me to manifest, it was going to be done on the mental plane, but it was going to be through the spiritual plane. Do we see how this works? Do we see? So this is why meditation and mindfulness was everything. This is what allowed you to quiet the mind, allowing you to draw the awareness, or allowing the awareness of the flashlight to start to shine through. See, this is where it happens that all the beauty is made in stillness, all of your creative moments. The clarity comes when you're quiet, when you turn your mind down. Think about it.

Speaker 1:

If you look at the stories, I mean ancients no matter who it was it could be Buddha, it could be Jesus, they always went off on their own. But what we do, we're scared to go off by ourselves own. But what we do, we're scared to go off by ourselves. We don't want to be with ourselves. We'll run from it. We'll open that phone up first thing in the morning, start checking emails, start scrolling. Let me make a TikTok real quick. Let me see what's up. We never take time to just be with the self.

Speaker 1:

The Bible was telling you be still and know that I am God, be still and know that I am God Psalm 46.10. Be still and know that I am God. I am. Be still, be still. It didn't say hurry up and run around, grab that phone, get in the hustle bustle of life. It didn't say none of that. It said be still and know that I'm God.

Speaker 1:

And the point of this was it was emphasizing the importance of stillness and being able to access this pure consciousness, this pure awareness. And then here's the deal you ready, you ready, everything was coming. Sorry, every sacred book, every sacred teaching was trying to teach you. Every sacred teacher was trying to teach you this that everything that you sought the man in the sky, the thing that you worship you were really just looking for the self, the self with a capital S the drop of the ocean. Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing I'm saying right now I might as well go ahead and get off.

Speaker 1:

This might be over your head a little bit, when you understand this that creating a mindset involves you having a spiritual practice. I'm not talking about a spiritual practice where you remember scripture. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a spiritual practice where you have a relationship with thyself, where you know thyself, where you know that which you actually are. When you look yourself in the mirror and you say I am, that I am, because the I am was everything, it was a reflection that you saw. Everything you saw in your physical world was a reflection of the state of awareness of the I am.

Speaker 1:

So I started to realize that this game that we play, what we call life, all it is, is self-awareness. That's all the game is. So if I increase my self-awareness, I mean if I can increase the awareness of the self, do you know how easy it is for me to use my mind for what it was intended for? Do we see? I never forget. This was years ago. Years ago, I was early on this awakening. I heard a voice. Little did I know it was the self. Get to know me and you'll get to know you. I thought this was God. It was God. It was God saying you get to know me, you get to know you. If you get to know you, you're going to get to know me, because they were one in the same.

Speaker 1:

And this, my friends, this, my friends, is where the world's turning. We're starting to recognize those of us who are on that journey not that those are any better than others. We're starting to realize that which we actually are. We're starting to realize that we're not what we've been told that we are. We are whatever we say that we are. But the only way to get to that awareness would be to recognize that which you actually were, the I am. And here's what I'm telling you right now. You're not going to get there. Being constantly distracted, constantly comparing, constantly looking outside of yourself. Everything that you were seeking including God, source, creator, everything that you were seeking was already inside of you. It was you. And this was the biggest awareness shift that I had. This was the biggest paradigm shift. Disappointment. For so long I thought that something was outside of me that was going to do something or help me, and then I realized, if I get back to that which I actually am, I then can start to use the paintbrush to paint the canvas how I desired, but I had to realize that I was the painter. Now I have retreats that help facilitate plant medicine.

Speaker 1:

People in this Western world. The Western world tends to demonize that which it does not understand. You can go ahead and at me on that one. Anything that the mind doesn't understand, it's going to demonize it, because the mind has to know. The mind, the ego, the unconscious mind, is coming from a place of knowing. It's coming from a place of comfortability. It's coming from a place of it has to be measured. It's coming, it's the scientific part of us. So if it doesn't understand it, what does it do? It shoots it down. Do we see? So when we start to understand plant medicine? Because I never did nothing growing up. I didn't drink, I didn't smoke, I didn't do none of that stuff, none of it. I'm an athlete. I want to make sure whatever I put in my body is pure. It works. I'm trying to reach the levels that I'm capable of. But then, when the spiritual journey started, the plant medicine started to call me and it started off with psilocybin and before I knew it, it moved into ayahuasca, and 2024 is expansion year of ayahuasca.

Speaker 1:

I can tell you what plant medicine does. First of all, the fact that a plant, a plant that you can say, all right, well, this was created by God. How are you going to take two different plants that exist in the same habitat? You take the root of one and the plant of another and you put them together and somehow it ends up allowing you to have a spiritual encounter with the self. Somebody, please tell me how this happens, please.

Speaker 1:

Now, I'm speaking from a place of experience. I can only speak from a place of experience, but when you start to realize that which you actually are, you'll start to realize that your mind was nothing more than a servant. It wasn't the master, but you had to have connection with the master and see, when you align your mind with the consciousness, the spirit, the pure awareness of that which you actually are now, you can start to create a life of abundance, you can create a life of purpose, you can create a life of peace, and nobody, no thing, will ever have control over your own mind anymore. They won't. And we start to realize everything in our three-dimensional matrix was designed to have control over your mind, point blank, period. I'm done. Look at everything. Look at the school system. You can look at the penial system. You can look at the food and drug administration. Everything was created to keep you from having the awareness of that which you actually are and those things that help you to have awareness of that which you actually are the self, the spirit, consciousness, being, whatever. Those are the things that we have demonized. Those are the things that have been shunned.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you're a weirdo. What's wrong with you, dude? You're crazy. What are you talking about? Man? I'm telling you right now, I'm doing this podcast right now. If I would have heard this podcast five years ago, I'd have been like who is this freaking nut? Who is this dude? You know how I know this, because my brother's been on this wave for 20 plus years and he used to tell me all this stuff. I'd be like man, I don't want to hear any of that. I don't want to hear it. You're nuts, dude. What are you talking about? You're crazy.

Speaker 1:

And then, all of a sudden, I started to remember all of these things. I started to remember, my mind started to like I had a spiritual awakening, a sacred wound, where everything that I thought I was crumbled and went away. And then I started to realize that I'm none of these things. Well then, what the what am I? I thought I was my house. I thought it was my car. I thought it was my money. I thought it was my identity. I thought it was my followers. I thought it was all of these things. What in the world am I? And it was at this point that you mean to tell me that there's something that exists without all of these identities that I thought I was. Well, who is that? Well, what is that? And this is what a spiritual awakening is. A spirit is awakening. A spirit is saying here I am, and now you're like whoa, hold on, now I'm so much more than what I thought. I'm so much more than what I thought, right? So now let's understand spirit, mind, body, spiritual plane, mental plane, physical plane. Fifth dimension, fourth dimension, third dimension. We're here in this third dimension.

Speaker 1:

I think Dolores Cannon said it best when she said you're here to manipulate energy, you're here to create your reality. So in order to do that, hear me when I say this I have not met anybody who can. I'm not saying that you can't, I just can only speak from experience. There's going to have to be some energy exerted on the physical plane in order for you to create the reality that you want. So I'm not telling you. Okay, well, I know what I am now. So now I'm just going to sit back and sit here and meditate all day and then wish, and then I'll manifest it. No, you're going to have to actually take action, then wish and then I'll manifest it. No, you're going to have to actually take action. You're going to have to slow the vibration down enough through action to bring it into the physical world.

Speaker 1:

So when I tell you to work hard maybe hard is not the word Work aligned, work aligned, work aligned and really the hardness, really, if we're talking about hard, and really the hardness, really, if we're talking about hard, the hard is what's going against how we've been programmed to live life. You've been programmed to live life from the physical plane up to the mental plane and you never get to the spiritual plane. But if I live life from the top down the spiritual plane and then the mental plane and the physical plane, now I don't have to grind because I am aligned. Do we see how this works? So I'm telling you right now. That's one thing. I, james Arthur Margo, they taught me hard work. They taught me hard work and I still work hard. And it's not that I'm working hard.

Speaker 1:

I am making sure that my physical actions are in alignment with my mental thoughts. Do you see how this works? But my mental thoughts. If I'm coming from a place of lack, that means I'm not actually living from the place of that which I actually am. That means there's a wound, that means there's a distorted perspective. That means there's a a smudge on my glasses. I still have a little bit of remnant paint on my paintbrush. I need to dip it in the water, meaning I need to clean it off. I need to get rid of that distorted perspective. I need to heal so then I can start to paint with the brush the way it was intended to be used.

Speaker 1:

So here's why I say this you all, being intentional was everything. Being intentional was everything. You got to be intentional, you got to be intentional. Don't think, please, please, please, please. Do not think that life in this physical, three-dimensional world is just going to say all right, here you go. Now you have the awareness of spirit. That would beheave the whole point of us having this physical experience Behoove or beheave, I don't know what the word is, maybe behoove, whichever one it is, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

When you realize that spirit wants to experience more of itself. Every time that it is looking through the lens of the mind, it is seeing itself in a new perspective. It is not that it's not okay. It accepts everything as it is. But here's the deal. It wants to see what it's like. What is it like seeing life from this perspective? Yes, although it may be distorted? Wow, and then I'll heal, and then I'll get rid of the limited beliefs that kind of kept me down in this negative space.

Speaker 1:

But through my healing, I get to see life through a new perspective, a new level of self-worth. You see, you can't put a value on self. The self was invaluable, even that in and of itself. When we say self-worth, self-worth, how are you going to tell me how much the self is worth? The self is that which creates everything. It creates everything, literally, from the galaxies to the earth, to this life that I'm living. There's nothing that it's not creating. How is it going to be worth anything when it's invaluable? It has created everything. It's invaluable.

Speaker 1:

So my point of this for you all, because I told myself in 2025, I'm going to hit new levels. So in order to do that, I had to unlock. I had to unlock my mind. That's the word right there unlock. You're just locked up. Right now, we're locked up and people say, oh well, it's hard. You don't know how hard it is. It ain't no harder for you than it is for anybody else. I'm going to just go ahead and say that it ain't no easier for anybody else than it is for you. If you tell yourself that this is what it is, then that is what it shall be. If you tell yourself that this is what it is, then that is what it shall be.

Speaker 1:

You never took time because they never taught you in school. Parents probably never taught us. They even tricked you to make you think that you were human. You're not human. Why do you think we got two words Human being? Because we're the only animal that we know of that could have the awareness that we were the being. But they put it backwards. Human being you weren't the human. The human was on the physical plane. You were the being. You were the awareness. That's how you know that you are human. How in the world. Am I going to know that I'm a human if I don't have awareness? The awareness would have to come first. Do you see what I'm saying right now? So, now that we understand that, it's not that it's difficult, it's not that it's hard, those are all just perspectives.

Speaker 1:

Some of you may think it's hard to make a shot from the three-point line.

Speaker 1:

I don't think it's very hard.

Speaker 1:

But if I told you you get one, try. You would say that it's hard to make a three-pointer. It's not hard to make a three-pointer, it's just that we have to be intentional with our practices in order for us to create that reality. So, meaning, you must be intentional with your life and your mindset is a part of your life. I must be intentional with my daily practices. I'm telling you every single day. I'm journaling, I'm meditating, I'm doing breath work, I'm taking time for stillness. Every single day. This is a non-negotiable. Somebody told me hey, they're dropping atomic bomb. I'd be like hold on, now, give me like 10 minutes. I got to spend some time with myself. This is a non-negotiable. It's not that it's hard. I just have to intend and be intentional.

Speaker 1:

And this is what we're not seeing in our society. We're not seeing, we don't get taught intentionality. You know why we don't get taught intentionality? Because in court, in order for you to be intentional with your life, you'd have to be accountable. But to be accountable that means you couldn't be the victim, and if you weren't the victim, that means you couldn't hold on to that story that kept you in that lower state anymore.

Speaker 1:

Okay, let me go ahead and let that sit for a little bit, because I don't think you hear what I'm saying right now. Nobody's trying to hear anything that I'm saying at all. You're not. You're not. I'm just going to let it marinate. I'm just going to let it sit there for a little bit. Give me like five seconds. You can't use the mind for what it's intended for if you're not being intentional with your life. So here's my. I'm just telling you what I've done. I'm not telling you you need to do it. I'm just telling you what I've done in my life, because I can only speak from experience. Here's what I did back about five years ago.

Speaker 1:

I need to know what this thing is. I need to know what this thing is that we refer to as spirit self. What is it? I just started looking up stuff. How do I find it? How do I find it? Where is it In the thought? Sorry, what I learned was you don't have to find it, because when you find something, that means it was outside of you. I just had to realize it. I had to realize it, I had to realize it, and when you realize it, you will never, ever, ever, ever forget it. Do you hear what I'm saying? So if what I'm saying right now is not resonating, I may be planting a seed in your soil, of your mind right now for it to grow later years down the road, but please know it wasn't outside of you. And here's the other part.

Speaker 1:

A lot of times on the spiritual journey, someone says you got to go inward. I'm like man, what the fuck does that mean? What does it mean to go inward? I don't even know what that means. What does it mean? So you know me, sagittarius war. I got to figure out. Put it in layman's terms what does it mean to go inward? Here's what it means to go inward.

Speaker 1:

Sit with your eyes closed and just observe what you're thinking, observe what you're feeling, and then start to ask why you feel this way, why, why do you perceive life this way? Why do you think this is so hard, why, you see, what we're doing is we're contemplating, we're reflecting. That's why we call it self-reflection. We're able to reflect the self so we can see the self. We're putting a mirror in front of the flashlight, so now the light is beaming back on itself. Good God, almighty, y'all ain't trying to hear nothing I'm saying Imagine taking a flashlight and you're shining it on that couch, but instead of putting it on the couch, you slide a mirror in between. Now that light reflects and bounces off, and now the light is actually lighting up the flashlight and you get to see the flashlight. This is what it means to go inward, do we see?

Speaker 1:

So I tell you that mindset is a spiritual thing. I'm telling you, mindset is a spiritual thing. So what I'm telling you? Mindset is a spiritual thing. So what I'm telling you? I'm trying to unlock my mind.

Speaker 1:

What I'm really telling you on a deeper, esoteric, spiritual level, I'm telling you I'm trying to find more of the self, because the more of the self that you find, the more of the mind you can use. So there's levels to this game and those levels are infinite, meaning there was no limit to how much of the self you could find, sorry realize there was no limit to how much of that, what you actually are, you could actually live from. And now that I know that it's infinite, and then we're going to have the positive, we're going to have the negative, we're going to have heads, we're going to have tails. If I'm infinite, that means my healing journey is never going to be done. If I'm infinite, I'll never be done. Working on myself, but here's the positive end. Working on myself, but here's the positive end. If I am infinite, that means there's no limit to what I can create and experience in this physical reality as long as I live from the top down. Do you see how this works? So I've told you all this many a times.

Speaker 1:

When I had my most recent ceremony in the jungle, the medicine was able to help me to hear the self say this is your life. Do with it as you may. Do with it as you may. Do with it as you may, meaning you can create your life, your experience, your script, your painting, your movie, your book, your story, any way that you want, as long as you could get that mind out of the way, because the only limitations that you truly actually had were the self-inflicted ones that you have created in your own mind. And I have to say this to fine print Maybe you didn't create the limitations, but you best believe you're the one who's still holding on to it, and that's what hurts, that's what stinks. You mean to tell me I got to clean up somebody else's mess. You mean to tell me I have to be accountable and responsible for what someone else may have quote unquote done to me. No, no, no, no, my child, they merely put a minor blockage in the way so that you could remove it. You could do the work and you would realize just another layer of the infinite nature of that which you actually are.

Speaker 1:

So now, now you see why it hits different when you read the Bible and Jesus was the metaphor Excuse me, it's almost like I don't know what it is. I don't know what it was. This was the metaphor of divine consciousness, the metaphor of realizing that which you actually were. So when you see this story of Yeshua ben Yosef, it was this divine being who knew what he was, and he knew he wasn't his flesh, which is why he said you can have it, I'll gladly go to the cross If you want to come with me meaning, if you want to live with this mindset of realizing that what you actually are, you're going to have to pick up your cross too. Meaning you was going to have to kill the ego. The ego is what operated on the mental plane. I was going to have to get rid of that.

Speaker 1:

And now it hits different when you see, when he was on the cross and he said Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. Because even in this, this was divinely orchestrated. Even in this, this was so needed for the journey. Because if it wasn't for Judas, I wouldn't be on this cross right now. If it wasn't for Pontius Pilate, I wouldn't be able to show everybody truly what was capable, what was possible. And this was the whole point of him.

Speaker 1:

When he came back, think about it. You mean to tell me he was divine? Because I used to learn this when I was in Sunday school he was man and he was God and he knew he was going to die and he died for our sins. And then he came back and I'm saying wait, hold on now. Why is he doing all that? For what? Why is he doing all that? You mean to tell me he knew he was going to die and he, you get to this level of awareness, you see that there was no death and you will gladly, metaphorically kill your ego. And then, of course, you always want to come back and you're going to come back from the divine, infinite nature of that which you actually are. Y'all ain't trying to hear nothing, I'm saying. It's all around us, they trying to tell us. It's always been here. So here's how my point of this. I got to wrap this up because I know right now you probably got something to do.

Speaker 1:

Unlock your mind by realizing the divine. Unlock your mind by realizing the divine, and the divine has no name, no word. We're using a word right now, but there is no word because you know, when you experience it, you've done some real breath work, you've been to that meditative state, you've been on a plant medicine ceremony, you have done something to experience, to experience that which cannot be articulated. They were telling you this in the Bible there are no words. This was the light that lit up all of mankind.

Speaker 1:

When you experience that and you know, hey, and if you know, you know If you can get to this level of awareness, and there's so many practical tools and modalities that are out there today, in 2024 and 2025. It's not like it's 1955 and people are like no meditation. No, we're not doing that, and you can go on YouTube and learn how to meditate. You can go download the DG Mindset app. You can do all of these things. You're just going to have to be intentional with your own life, though. So go on a hunt. Go on a hunt to go find the self.

Speaker 1:

The Greeks said it best when they said know thyself. Please know anytime that you know something. That means you've already experienced it. So, really, what they're saying is experience thyself, and the only way to experience thyself is to be with thyself. So may 2025, 2024 and beyond be the year of you being with yourself. So you know, as always, I'm always here to help, however I can.
